if i remove the driver side air bag the passenger side air bag still will work? because the airbag light will stay on and i was wondering if that light being on affects the passenger side airbag.

From this scheme you can see that the airbag deployers (squibs) are connected in parallel circuit, so if you remove one, the other one still works the same. As for the light, the airbag (SRS) indicator seems to me just to be indicating the airbag malfunction, but that signal comes from "Diagnosis circuit" and we have no idea what's going on inside...
So the airbags are triggered parallel, but we have no idea weather the triggering will happen if one is missing (at least not from this scheme). My guess would be that if one airbag is missing, the other one still triggers the same, but can't be sure. Also the indicator is labelled "SRS warning light", where warning is usually used only as indication signal that does not effect the circuit function. ![]() Hope this helps -------------------- |
