QUOTE (NEVERSTOP @ Jun 10, 2004 - 5:23 PM)

well I was referring to the type that craigspyder has on his celica but after looking at them today I don't know if I wanna even got that "aftermarket" lookin on it.. I really like em but I want people to look at the car as if Its all factory option stuff..

ya those are the same sides i recieved from CBB when i ordered the 404 type skirts...also i think the 404 skirts ride a bit lower than the stock sides but this is just from a visual deduction from members rides on here

I believe it's the same as the OEM's.

Anyone beg to differ?

LOL sounds like your looking for a fight girl biggrin.gif

Is it a GT? If you do some performance stuff to it, you can give us GT Auto owners some tips on how to make the most out of it. That'd be real cool for those of us who can't drive stick very well or can't swap a stick in.

Yea its a GT.. pretty sure they didn't make ST's in 98 and 99. I'll post all the mods done to it but im not going major performance on this one.. at least not until the 1st one is running flawlessly.. which might be a while.. until then its just the basics wink.gif

I kinda came to the same thought looking at pics but pics dont mean nething at all confused.gif

Hey never,

I thought i was the only one with 2 six gens in my garage. Now its two of us. Very clean car. Actually it looks very funny that your g/f has that blue street racer civic and you driving along in your red auto celi. Atleast it has nice wheells ha ha ha. j/k

If you go to b/s section, NYCeli has a nice 404A front lip for sale and at a very good price, and i think he has rear extensions aswell (all for $150 if not mistaken). The oem sides and extensions for the 96-99 version are too stock for my liking but the 94-95 ones look much hotter. Whatever you do, dont go crazy on this one. Keep things stock (or close to stock)

damn those rims look good on the Celi.

Okay well its the 6th day that I have owned the 99 and figured I would post some pics of the progress I have made on it.

here is a list of the mods I have done so far and pics of everything.

*mods*
SKYC 17" wheels with Fuzion tires
JDM tail lights
Powdercoated Sport package Front strut tower bar (off the 94)
Greddy Catback exhaust
Loteck Triple Guage Pillar
Autometer Guages: A/F - Boost - Nitrous (this will prolly come off soon)
Momo Millinium Evo steering wheel
Momo Airmetal door sills
Tenzo R Ralley seats Grey/black
36% window tint

Not bad for less than a week biggrin.gif

I have brembo crossdrilled slotted rotors, Stainless steel brake lines and CF brakepads that will go on it hopefully sometime this week but gotta find time to do all that.. will also paint the calipars a light greyish silver at the same time.

on with pics

heres the exhaust.. its used but still pretty nice

heres another on of the seats.. if you look really close at the side you can see where I am trying to used the stock side plastic piece for the tilt lever and the cover on the side - with a little trimming it will fit perfectly

now all I have to really do is lower it and get a kit on. then I will do a few minor things to the motor and it will be ready to go biggrin.gif and Hopefully the other celi will be ready to put back together really really soon biggrin.gif

well I sold my extra 5sfe manual tranny about 2 weeks before getting this one.. so who knows.. I will prolly eventually but not until after the otherone is done - I might just keep it auto.. just cuz I want this car just as a daily driver and I get sick of manuals after a while.

looks good.

thanks biggrin.gif

well for gains I really have gotten on it too much.. I dont have a thing done to the motor yet so the exhaust by itself isnt gonna give me too much.. as for the sound though its absolutely PERFECT.. I love the way it sounds.. not all loud and crappy or nething.. its just a nice deep clean sound

Hey never, i think you are slacking off. What's going with the project? I think you should focus because on monday morning if i dont see some serious work done i would be very disappointed by you. j/k

btw, i finally got the exhaust. quite big sob isn't it. cant wait to put it on. that will be in 2 weeks though as i will be in U.K. for vacationup to the end of the month and then i will be fitting my custom rear lip, so the exhaust will be fitted after that as well.

Neverstop, you gotta get rid of that ricey spoiler...it throws off the flow of the car. I love the front and back, but the spoiler looks horrible...gives the car a cheap generic look, which is bad because the car looks intimidating. That scoop...it looks horrible and also messes with the overall cleanliness of the car. It just looks ugly...but the scoop itself is nicely done and I give you props for that...it's really awesome that you made that yourself. If I had time, I would make fiberglass resin parts for mine too...I used to repair surfboards. biggrin.gif
