well i will order the syncromesh, but would you guys rebuild this monster?
See ive decided to keep the beams, and will not be swapping anything else in the car. the way i see it, it will cost 400 to rebuild tranny. (Im doing the work) Also, i could buy another tranny, and buy into someone elses grinding, that would suck.. then i would have an lsd paper weight... Also i can buy another beams with lsd, and then sell the lsd in mine and part out the beams, and keep the block as a spare? nah, too complicated Im planning to open the tranny up, but of course, would not not what to look for as far as damage.. I have been researching and the third gear grinding is caused by damaged second gear synchros (which i think is BS, frm Toyota nation) i really think is 3r gear synchros. but if you can help, just join the post.. I estimate will do this in the next few weeks. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL
