I bought some of those drilled/slotted rotors off ebay to try. I just bought the fronts because at the time I wasn't quite ready for the disk conversion (see another post for that fiasco). I didn't have very high expectations for them as they're really cheap but I must say, I've been plesantly suprised. You can get them drilled, slotted, or drilled and slotted. I asked for the slotted only and was shipped the drilled and slotted. It was partially my fault because I didn't request them in the same email that I paid for them...but the guy told me I could either return them and get the ones I wanted, or he'd give me $15 back. I went with the $15. They're zinc plated and the plating seems to be holding up very well.

I haven't had them to the track yet so I can't comment on how they hold up when they're really thrashed...but I've been intentionally hard on them on the street and haven't had any trouble. They're just starting to get bedded in well with the pads but the initial bite is good and braking performance is excellent. I don't have any numbers to compare, but the butt dyno says that they're as good as any other setup I've had on the car (still with rear drums in this review).

Overall I'm pleased with them and would buy them again.
