So I am wanting to know I have two 5SFE motors one has been run bone dry of oil and is sitting in my car port (1990) and my current one is in my car (1994). Now I am wondering if the if the 5SFE (1990) is worth rebuilding and using turbo is it gonna be worth it or not I don't wanna spend three grand for a rebuild of 5SFE and not feel like it was worth it or is the 3SGTE swap just better all around ? I just don't want to spend the money and not enjoy it.

read through the stickies, you have a bunch of options. rebuild is cheapest, swaps next, you have several engine choices
-------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
1997 Supra TT 6speed 1997 Celica 3MZ/1MZ swap 1990 Celica All-Trac |

Thanks for the tip now I have a new question I managed to track down all the 3sgte parts I need to make a 5sgte. Now I am wondering my motor is a 1990 5sfe and the motor the guy is selling me is a 3sgte 1991 on the stickies it only says stuff about the engines being 92+ and up will this match up or will it not?
