Ok so just recently a pretty loud noise has started coming from the 'front drivers side wheel area'.
The noise is ONLY when I'm accelerating/on the gas at all. As soon as I take my foot aft the gas it stops (kind of a squealing/clunking/grinding noise). Thats why I'm thinking it could be the rear motor mount, if its bad then it would tweak a little and the axle wouldn't line up the way its supposed to right? I jacked the car up and no noises just spinning the wheel, bearing doesn't seem to have any play in it. All the other suspension parts a like brand new. Just trying to narrow it down, if its ONLY when I press on the gas, what else could it be? I took a pic of the front and rear mounts, and the rear looks a lot worse, but idk if that bad enough to make the noises. Rear - It looks a lot more worn down ![]() Front - looks in a lot better shape ![]() Found a poly mount wondering if it will work, idk how they replace the one now? like how does the rubber part come out? or is there a better mount option? http://speed-source.net/?wpsc-product=toyota-engine-mounts says for gt4, but the gt mounts should be the same right?
