Hey guys, I came across ARTec Performance Parts. A company from Australia which manufactures parts, especially exhaust/intake parts.
I asked them if they planned to make an exhaust system for the St205 but it's unfortunatly not in their to-do list... UNLESS, I can find at least 10 people willing to order one + a ''guinea pig'' car used for development in Sydney.
We only need 1 person willing to use his car as it. (To run tests / see the fitting and exhaust routing I guess..) This person needs to be from Australia as they are from Sydney

Just look at their products, I was already convinced of quality. https://www.facebook.com/pages/ARTec-Perfor...184071731705639
So I am looking for people interested into a group buy for an exhaust system for the St205.
I guess if enough people are interested we could also request more parts to be produced (intake manifold, exhaust/turbo manifold, intercooler... St185 or St165 3sgte parts also.)

Ballpark price would be around $1400 usd for stainless steel and $2000 usd for titanium. Price may differ depending on the design and work required.
(The answer he gave me is 3 post below.)

If you are interested, add your name to the list and maybe we could get another company to manufacture quality parts for our cars.
I shared this on many pages on Facebook to reach out as much people as possible.

Edit: We may have found our guinea pig already.

You will definitely need a price estimate to attract people. Talk to them, have them compare the price on a project they have done with similar time spend on labor and materials, a similar car to the 6GC.
For many it might be cheaper going to a local shop or traveling to another city, visiting a good exhaust shop for some custom work.

I've already sent them an email about all the questions listed above.
I will update as soon as I get an answer!

Price is also what make me wonder if it'll be worth it in the end (Ha! The enD..)

Though I thought it was a good idea to make a first step towards a group buy because it's the only way to find out.

Update,

Here is his answer:

''Hi there
I can make then in 3.5" and 3" also stainless and titanium. I have to see the car first before i can give prices estimates, design and testing and production would be about 3 months.
Price also depends on the design and muffler amount, I think a quiet 3.5" tripple muffler would be best if i can design it right.
I would do a tripple muffler 3.5" stainless for about $1400usd in a group of 10 Ti would be about $2050usd.
But I will make the best ever exhaust for ST205 celica!

This is for the mid section back , but if the front section is easy, I'll have to see a car first. I do not know what they look like underneath, that price was based of the size of an EVO 7-9 cat back which does not include the cat, front pipe or turbo oulet.''

So basically; de-cated, no down pipe and no front section which is pretty much what I had in mind.
