don't get those do it yourself dent removers unless the dents are the smallest things imaginable. If the dent is to big it will cause your cars body to look wierd, like a wavy look.
As for paint go to the most repubably shot thats around you. Be sure and ask how they paint the car, and if they actually use a base coat clear coat or if is blended in with the paint. Be sure that they are good at preping the car, and ask how they do that. Also find the brand of paint that they use. I am biased but personally I like PPG, but there are many other excellent paints out there. |

whats up rider. since you're in the central NJ area let me know if you find a reputable place that'll do a color change for around or under 2 grand. I got quotes ranging from 2500 to 4500 from some reputable shops last summer but I didn't have the money at the time. looking to definetly get the car repainted this spring. |

I'd say do some research on the prep work and do as much as you can yourself. A friend of mine does his own prep work and sending a car to the shop already sanded and primered costs less than 1k for a killer paint job. Using this method I'll have my House of Kolors pearl paint job for just a little over the cost of paint($900 including primer, base/pearl, clear). Of course I have to save for a while to get that, but when I do have the money it won't be bad at all.
