Hi guys, Im having problems with boost as I have decided to get rid of that crappy Forge W/G I had and put the stock one back on. When It was working properly the forge seemed to be able to hold and control the boost I selected via my AEM TruBoost EBC. Here Is the sequence of events that led me to change the W/G

Forge W/G was working fine but I began having problems keeping the wastegate rod in place, It eventually became undone and fell off somehow (leading me to have low boost)
while the rod was off and the wastegate flap was free I noticed that I was still making 3-5psi on occasion.

This led me to change the W/G back to stock thinking that I'd be better off. However after putting it back on, boost comes on VERY QUICKLY and shot up to 22lbs (no bueno)

My duty cycle is at its lowest setting (10psi) so why is it overboosting? the stock wastegate spring pressure isnt THAT strong im sure!

It was a tight fit getting the stock boost controller rod back on, and its on tight as a drum, but why wouldnt it be opening? I loosened the bolt that holds the wastegate bracket onto the turbo for more play but that proved futile.

Is there anything I'm missing? any help would be appreciated. hope my explanations make sense.

Cheers

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.
