 E351 Transmission Getting Cheap, Hey all, your thoughts |

Hey everybody,. I've been reading on here, toyota nation, and the MR2 forums that some people are now swapping in the E351 from a 4cyl Camry rather than the E153 transmission to get the taller gear ratios.
Apparently E351 Transmissions are plentiful in my area and sell for around 300-400 however, e153 transmissions are few and far between 400-750. So anyone have the info on this transmission? Does it bolt to the 5F-SE, I'm guessing so how about a candidate for the 1mz/3mz hybrid swap,. is the torque of that combo going to blow this to pieces? and with the E351 I'm guessing it's the same axle setup as the E153? E351 is from (06-09 Camry XV40), (08-14 xB), (09-12 Corolla XRS), (2009-2013Toyota Matrix XRS) Here a quick comparison of S54 Stock,. versus E153, versus E351 ratios,.
