custom suspension parts built by T3 Options

Hows it going, this is more directed at 5g's but what is built for those spills over to 6th and 4th gens too so I found this would be important to y'all as well.

I've sort of been pioneering parts built by T3 (techno toy tuning in cameron park, Ca)
since I'm a local out of Dixon, Ca I found T3 and bought some MR2 parts to fit them to my 5th gen GT.

While I was there I mentioned how underrepresented these cars are and how there is a demand to be met in terms of suspension (and maybe other components) parts wanted. My car is my daily driver which I average 300 miles a week so motor swaps aren't my focus, but making my drive to school more fun comes in the form of a better handling vehicle.

After discussing the problems I'm having with bump steer and so forth they've been working to get an extended ball joint to match what I've built for a tie rod flip kit to not only strengthen the front components but to bring lowered cars back to the stock suspension geometry which removes unwanted bump-steer and also puts the cars roll center back to the stock location.

The first thing I had built was the rear control links and trailing arm. I did have the capabilities to build this on my own but figured this speeds it up a lot and maybe others can benefit from this vs just reading "how to's" on how to make your own.


So that's a bit of the background on it, currently I'm trying to locate a st185 to be a guinea pig on rear links for those. The ball joints are approaching the testing stage from what I saw last I was there.

There is also a plan to make top plates for the front that have camber adjustment and caster adjustment without both happening at the same time, im not sure if the 5g stuff transfers over but at least this is a start to new parts.


There's also an idea of ITB's rolling around (yes yes here comes the people saying that doesnt work blah blah) for the 5sfe. Should be interesting to document how they work/if they do etc.

Umm okay? we have been waiting for that front flip kit for some while or atleast that's how it is in celicatech

Yeah, well the tie rod flip is not a bolt on deal, I think they may make it for a celica once they finish the RCA's but it will still require other parts because the celica doesn't leave enough space to make a heim joint and sleeve fit in the factory location.

If you go onto illusion performance, I lined out how to make the tie rod parts from an mr2 fit.
If you want that info go there it's under handling performance.

Since it seems that I'm the only person to really be pursuing parts to be built for the masses by a company that has a good reputation it's not surprising that everyone is still waiting.

I have built a group on FB for 5th gens mostly which I use to both show what they build as they build it and to bring that community together.

There are a few 4th and 6th gen owners on there also but they are probably the more motivated type among the groups.
