I was told that the SAFC2 will work for my 97 celica but the ECU will eventually correct itself. So basically reseting itself. Can someone shine some light on this? I don't want to install it if it's just going to reset itself. No point of tuning it. Also will the installation be the same as a 94 ECU? The link below is for the installation on a 94.

the early obdII ecus that we have in the 6th gen celicas dont have the long term fuel trim corrections like the newer ecus have.
the SAFCII will work just fine on any of the 6th gen ecus, although i dont really recommend them on the gt4 of course..lol -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

Awesome. Is the wiring diagram/installation the same for the obdii?
