i want to get a set of them powdercoated black. how much will this run me about? and powdercoating them will be durable enough for rims right?

Powercoating should be durable enough for wheels. I know that here in town there's a shop that charges $20 per rim for powercoating them.

call your local body shops they should be able to do it for you with now problem... just shop around for the best prices... and ask them if they can lower the price,, if they say no they just leave or hang up and keep looking till you frind the right price for you.

I had my intercooler, rotors, a bunch of my motor nuts bolts etc for 400 bucks

theres this place not too far away from me that does powdercoating, they have this display set up outfront with all these rims different colors, ill check out that place.... $20 would be sweet, i was hoping for at least $150 for all 4....

Hey dude I do powdercoating where I work. We charge $65 a rim. And believe me it is VERY durable. Of course, the price really depends on the condition of the rims. We charge $65 bucks a rim if it's bare metal and all we have to do is powdercoat. But if it already has a powdercoated or painted finish then the price goes up. This is because any finish on the rim has to be completely gotten off for the powder to bake onto the metal properly. Hope it turns out well man.
