when ever im accelerating past 3k rpms at a fast past, there would always be a ringing with a vibration on my a-pillar. i was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this as well.

Cant say that I have with all the clips on the plastic trim secured with the pillar. Sounds like you may have something loose behind your trim. -------------------- 1997 ST:Limitedly Green

Or the strut and mount on that side are wasted.

Pull downward and then once you have the upper part out, pull straight out from the a pillar. Once you're at the bottom of the a pillar, pull the whole thing upward toward the center of the roof to release the last clip holding it in. Examine all the little metal pieces that are clipped on the plastic on the a pillars, If you see any missing. that noise is the metal piece stuck in the a pillar. I had that issue before, i pulled out a neodymium magnet, Put it all the way toward the bottom of the A pillar, and waited to hear a ping from the metal, Then dragged it upward to the nearest hole and then i pulled it right out. Good luck! |
