Currently I have the OEM clutch kit in and its seen its better days. Not slipping or anything just weak. Has 167k miles and still going haha. Well I plan to go 3sgte in the near future using my s54 transmission meaning I use 5sfe clutch kit and 3sgte flywheel. What good options are currently available that will work on my 5sfe for daily driving but also in 6-8 months be swapped into a 3sgte ( if my savings go as planned) I do not want to use a eBay clutch kit and only thing I've found is a greddy OEM replacement and that just isn't going to do the Job in my opinion. I'd like to keep costs below 350$ for the kit. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advanced!

Clutchmasters fx300 is a good daily setup, but also holds about 350 ftlbs of torque

Im not that impressed with southbend... but to each their own. In any case, do your research and determine what is actually important to you. I was really concerned with minimizing pedal effort and keeping stock-like engagement. A lot of reading on a number of forums pointed to the FX series as a really comfortable setup. An FX200 will most likely fit your price range, and last time I spoke with them they have a specific part number for the 3SGTE/S54 combo.
