Hey guys. I have a 3SGTE sump pan that I need to fit to my 3SGE for turbo conversion.

Has anyone replaced a sump pan on a 6gc and if so, is there a How To / diy?

Many thanks,
Jason.

its a pain while in the car. but its pretty cut and dry. take off old pan, clean mating surface, apply FIPG, and install new pan.

read some of my build threads

I've seen yours. What I want to understand is what needs to be removed ie crossmember etc. I only get a few hours every other weekend to work on the car so I need as much detail to prepare.

Cheers,
J

i have never seen a 3S-GE so i dont know what is involved. the 5S-FE has this plate on the bottom of the engine that bolts to the bell housing of the trans. I dont know if the 3S-GE has that. you shouldnt have to drop the cross member.
