I had a bad battery once that caused a headache, luckily it wasn't internal and I was able to fix it By cleaning the top of the battery off with soap and water.

Either the batter is good or I have 2 bad batteries. I put the one from mywwife's 95 on and it does the same thing.
I decided to pull the new alternator and have it tested to make sure I didn't get a DoA partbbefore I go checking everything out -------------------- 97 Celica GT liftback DD/ project
