 5SFE Transmission 6th gen in a 5th gen?, Which one is better? Can they interchange parts? |

Recently i've read on 5th gens and i see that that the GTS's models are running the 5SFE Engine. 6th Gen GT's are running a newer-ish 5FSE and my big question is if the 6th gen Manual Trans will bolt onto the 5th Gen 5SFE.

It depends on what you are looking for. The S54 out of the 6g has a shorter final drive, which is actually detrimental to highway mileage.
If you are looking for an autox/track/city box, its the better choice. -------------------- ~bloodMoney
