 Camry 3rd Gen 5S-FE Swap, Wondering what needs to happen to use this motor in a 97 6gc |

Hey all, I'm working on another 6gc, this time a 97 Limited Edition Vert with a 5-speed manual. Recently I came across too good of a deal on a Camry with 95k on the motor and forgot that the 2000 Camry has a different 5S than the 97 Celica.
So, I'm wondering if anyone has done this swap, or if anyone knows the steps necessary to pull this off. I've found one post from Tweak from years ago when someone was asking about doing the same in a 5th gen; but he didn't get in to more detail than "use the harness from the original motor, swap over the sensors and add the distributor" so any info would be great! |
