I'm looking through the performance thread learning about the 3sgte swap and I've found a hole in one of the stickies under the section that says "Transmissions, LSD & Clutch"
I've seen the threads on how to make the hybrid axles if using the SW20 tansmission with LSD (which sounds like a good option), but there is a link that says "E series transmissions: info on converting GT4 to FWD" but when you click the link you get a 404 http://www.roadandtrack.net.au/images/stor...arbox_short.pdf It's just that when you look on ebay now you see more 3rd gen 3sgte's from the St205, including the transmission and for less money than you see from the SW20. So I'm wondering, even if you take the e154f and use it as a FWD does it already have the LSD in it? I imagine it would be easier to mount up because its designed for this car but without the LSD I don't think it'd be worth it. The problem is that when trying to search the forum I want to use three-letter terms like AWD and FWD, which the search engine won't let me do. Thanks, -------------------- Bust a Deal; Face the Wheel.
