Guys, I am soon to be back in my 94 ST Coupe. My auto tranny gave out on me and then my mom backed into the car in her Suburban >:[ (good thing the vader bodykit was already in bad shape!)
Because of this, my parents decided to pay for the bodykit and for the transmission to be replaced. So, I bought the C-5 Duraflex kit, (Vader kit is too common on this car, imho) and am currently waiting on it to come in the mail. Thing is, it looks as though my turn signals in my front bumper will not fit. Has anybody that has gotten this kit, or another, had to replace their turn signals with the 96+, or did the 94-95 signals work?

Also, is there anything that I should know about as far as the kit is concerned?
Thanks guys!

EDIT: I did alot of digging on the forums, and it seems that some people have either modified their kit to fit the usdm lights, used gt4 lights, or used 5gen celica lights. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Like you came up with in digging around on here, your either gonna modify the kit to fit the ST lights, pre or post face or look into either GT4 or 5th Gen lights to fit the kit better. It looks more like a GT4 front so I would lean more towards those lights, however the 5th Gens are potentially cheaper but they have a rounded end.

So, my dad called and told me that the GT4 turn signals seemed a bit too small for the C5 bumper. When I get home this coming weekend, I will check for myself to see how far off they are from fitting properly. Just letting you guys know!

i had this same kit on my car once upon a time and the front bumper needed some modifying to fit but worked out and as for signal lights, i used a set of clear 5th gen signal lights that flowed pretty good, had to modify and do a little drilling as well to make them work, but it still worked

Yeah, I got home to help work on the car and our body/paint guy stopped by. We tried to line up the front bumper to the car to get an idea and realized that it'd need some work to fit properly. (What all did you have to do BTW?) Also saw firsthand that a set of stock 94-95,96-99, or the gt4 turn signals won't fit without modifications and whatnot. If I'd have known, I may have gotten a different styled front clip, but I liked this one. Oh well. At least the transmission finally got replaced. Now all that's left is body work and replacing the rear transmission moun . ETA for road: 3 weeks.

is seems that the 5th gen lights only can be place by the back inside the bumper.
