 3sgte and guide on tacho adapto/resistor? |

I'm currently in the preparation for my st246 3sgte swap (wiring and ecu immobilizer will be done at wiregap).. wondering the deal with 3sgte swaps and getting the gauges/tacho to work and is it the same process over the different 3sgte generations?
From the little information I've found you can either go with a msd8920 tach adapter on the oem St204 gauges or do a resistor mod... Somehow I can't find any write up or any information of how to do either of these? Confusing as it's such a damn common conversion and I can't find anything on the two methods and how difficult they are? Thanks |
