alright guys... just got my subs in and i have a problem. I have 2 12's so the box is pretty big and it moves around a lot and the carpet mat in the trunk moves with it. This is very annoying and im constantly having to adjust them because when the box gets up against the side, it rattles much more. Anybody have some solutions/suggestions please?

fiberglass them to the side of your trunk. Looks better that anything madeout of wood(MDF).

I am doing now and have a blast it is easyer than you think and alot cheaper too.

I made a custom made a box to fit the corner of my trunk but I got no clue on how or what to bolt it to, it doesn't move because it fits so good in its spot but because it isn't glued, screwed, or bolted down when the volume gets real loud it starts moving and vibrating which from inside the car u don't hear but outside the car people always think its my license plate. I got a pic of it in my profile and I would appretiate any ideas of what I could use or do.

Thanx.

my original idea: i was gonna make a board that lifted the floor about an inch and a half to display my amp as built into the floor, and also hold the sub boxes in place

Drocay

you can screw it to the wall and cover the screw heads with hot glue this will prevent air leakages. I think that is what I am going to when I am finnished with mine.

I had the same problem with my single 12 in my Celica and my girls 2 12's in her Probe.

I just got a couple little L-brackets and screwed them to the bob, then to the floor.

Hasn't moved since.

thanks man
if u want a cleaner look on the sub box, screw the l-brace to the floor first, then place the box up to it and screw it into the box.

i did all mine in the back of the box.
can't be seen.
