The S2K redlines at 9K. Having a higher redline is only stupid when you have stock internals that were not made to go that high. You will not get any power out of it. Now if you upgrade your cams, cam gears, valves, ECU, ect.. you will get more power at higher rpms. I agree with Mynzeyes. It is great to take the Si to 8K once in a while.

AAAAHAHAHAHHAHAAAA!!!! ok....i just got back from Rockingham....the same guy was there with his "spoon" engine 1st thing i asked him: "hey, never heard of a spoon engine...wat is that?" his response: "its like..its kinda like...like...like a bolt on turbo...i think i have around 200 hp now" 2nd thing i asked him: "200 horse huh? welp...my car is basically stock with 135 hp...why did i womp you the other day?" his response:"i got a bad start man...and i think the guy that installed my turbo screwed it up" now...as i was walking away (laughing all the way) i saw the 5...yes 5!!! vinyl SPOON stickers...one of them said "SPOON ZOOM" i couldn't stop laughing...didnt race my celi tonight, saw my friend and his mistsubishi 3000gt vr4 rip up a mustang cobra... just thought you guys would get a kick out of this "spoon" fool

What's worse is the APC group. These people get APC floor mats, or a radiator cap or something, and then feel they should COVER their car or truck with APC stickers.

Wanna talk redline for a j-spec car, the jap. rx-8 reds at 11k, while they cut it back here, and TRD=MUGEN as TOM'S=SPOON.

Actually, Spoon and Honda are on a relationship like Shelby and Ford were. When Shelby designed the Cobra version of the mustang, most people called it the Shelby Mustang, just like when a car has a Spoon engine, it is called a Spoon blah blah car.
Like the Honda S2000, which has a copartner not many people know about called the Spoon S2000. It's hella faster, and i'm not sure what mods are made to the car, or if it even hosts the same engine has the regular S2000, but it's hella fast. -------------------- 95 Toyota Celica GT
