Aloha 6gc Family! Today I Went To Renew My 1994 Toyota Celica GT Coupe's Annual Safety Inspection. The Inspector Pulled Into Their Garage And Noticed My Vigourest Shaking From The Engine. He Jacked The Left Front Tire Shock The Wheel And Determined That Shaky Engine Was From Worn Motor Mounts. What Are They For And How Do I Replace Them?

Mahalo 808celica! I appreciate your input but I don't think they use a different brand strut for the set up you recommended.

Aloha! Several years I bought this Ground Control coilover set off Ebay. I went and bought a set of KYB GR2 struts to go with the coilovers. I finally have a chance to install them but can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone have this set up that can help me out.

Aloha fellow 6gc owners ! I will jobless in a couple of days and will finally have time to install my Ground Control coilover sleeves I bought on Ebay (used) a few years ago. I also bought a set of brand new KYB GR2 gas struts to go with it. Anyway, I seen the HOW TO topic on the interior/audio/electrical/wiring forum. Does any have a HOW TO on installing Ground Control with KYB GR2 struts ? Step by step pictures would be nice if you have it, but I will use a accurate installation run as well. Also can you include the necessary tools needed to do this installation. Mahalo !!

ItS tHe WiErD wAy ThAt YoU typed like that, any way, like previously mentioned, if you dont wanna take it someplace and you would like to do so yourself, there should be an irregularly longer wire(s) coming from the harness, on either goes to the e-brake & another to the foot brake, or just to the e-brake, if there are 2 and one needs to go to the foot brake, you prob need to setup a seris of switches to do a lil dance to get it to work, otherwise you just tie the single wire in with a ground n it should work, no clue as to colors since i couldnt find anything with a quick google search good luck with the instal though!!! its nice watching movies on long drives =)

I've always had my power amp under my drivers seat-I am now installing a bigger/longer amp.Any suggestions? I was thinking about mounting on the back of the back seats (I have a coupe) or maybe upside down under the rear dashboard. Do you think that any of these can support the weight (15lbs).

Sup man, just buy a fuse tap and tap into the radio fuse in the dash fuseblock. It consist of a adapter that holds 2 mini fuses, one for the actual radio and the other fuse for the added accessory. It also has a wire with a butt connector so you can crimp on the ign. power wire to whatever accessories your installing, which in your case the vid. monitor. Here's what it looks like:IPB Image

Much Mahalos My Brudda!!!!! They sell this at Radio Shack, Right?!

I recently posted a question about Power Distribution Block and found the answer on carstereo.com forum. I have a new question-I need to connect 2 A/V converter box that has 12v power wire(red), 12v accessory wire (yellow) and a ground wire (balck) to the connector. I pretty sure the red wire connects to the car battery and the black wire needs to coonected to an nearby bolt, but were do I connect the yellow wire?

yellow goes to + batt, red to accessory + and black to ground.

You are right and I was wrong. So the accessory wire also connects to the battery? Will it be connected to the postive post or negative post?

I have a pair of Power Acoustik HD-7 universal headrest monitors that came with an A/V controller for each monitor. The A/V controllers require to connect a power wire, acc wire and ground wire. I plan to mount the A/V controllers under the front driver and passenger seats. I already have a power amplifier connected under the driver seat. Is is where a Power Distribution Block come in, were I connect one power cable from the car battery to the block and run the rest of the power/acc wires of the amp & monitors to the block? Let me know if this is right or wrong. Also open to other suggestions on this type of installation.
