Ok....sooo....I know it's a bit late for me to start it but might as well do it now. Lol. I bought my 1997 Toyota Celica GT for $4,500 on February 27, 2012. It had 175,000 miles on the cluster. It was in very good condition. The only problem I had on it was it had a CEL light on. Which was just the speed sensor in the cluster not working. Replaced that and the CEL was cleared. Also my car didn't pass emissions test but I eventually had that fixed after running on premium and Lucas Cleaner. Overall I was more than happy to pay the overpriced $4500. smile.gif

Very ricey and not my flavor.

Here's a link to my FB album of my car. It has all of my pics of my silly97.
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2...0238&type=3

Here some things my car had on when I first bought it:

Bone stock performance
7GC GTS Rims
AG Lowering Springs
JDM Tail lights
Stock side skirts
2post spoiler
Rear tinted windows
Window stickers

Here's what I've done to it so far:

Performance
Injen Short Ram Intake

Suspension
Megan Coilovers

Ichiba Spacers 15mm and extended lug studs all around

Eibach Camber Bolt

Fender Rolled All Around

Exterior
3k Hi halogen bulb

8k Lo HiD conversion
3k halogen fog light bulb
Amber turn signal bulb

Clear side lights

TRD Roof Spoiler REPLICA(Hi-C)

OEM SSIII front grill
Tom's Front Lip REPLICA(Zonz540)

Enkei RPF1 17x8 +45Front +35Rear
Nankang NS1 205/40/17

Interior
TRD Shift Boot

SpreeLED White Gauge Lights

GT4 Rear Strut Bar

I do have a set of GT4 splitters that are waiting to be painted.

The rest of my plans for my car is to get it repainted and installed with the gt4 splitters. I want to go wit the Supra Limited Edition Silver code 1B9. I also want to get a custom exhaust. I really want the JDM projectors also. We will see what else will be added onto my list as days goes by. Lol. Also I'm planning to keep my silly FOREVER!!! XD

How it looks before:

How it looks now:

A long 24mm or 15/16" socket with a 1/2" ratchet should do it for the fill plug. Drain plug will require a short one.

Lol. I tried like every trick in the book. Its just in an ugly ass angle and can't get a good leverage. Everytime I get good leverage. It'll just keep slipping. Tired of messing with it for an hour today and the last two times I tried.

Yea. I've been too lazy to go out and take pics. Lol. I'm planning on taking some more in a couple weeks when I slam it. Since my camera battery died after the first shot I took today. So all these were taken with my phone. Lol.

Going lower eh? Hehehe. Make sure you get it aligned, you're going to have some serious toe out when the control arms start going past middle and the subframe sits lower lol. Most awkward feeling in the world

He's already on Megans

Looking good, Silly! I just have one comment and that is the tire size. It's just slightly, SLIGHTLY too small IMO. What are you using?

I'm actually only going to go slammed temporarily for the bay area meet only. After that ima raise it back up to what I have now. I can't have a DD slammed. Lol. Can't afford all that suspension wear.

I know.....i first had 225/45 which was too fat so I couldn't go low. Then I went with what I have now which is 205/40 and its too skinny. So I'm just waiting til my tires get eatened up or get my 225/45 sold so I can get a set of 215/45. Would be a much nicer fit.

They're genuine but some reason they don't fit flush. Might be warped. That's why I have abs plastic. Lol.

Yea that's the gap. From what I've been told. It should fit perfectly but it doesn't.

Maybe they're meant for the coupe. redface.gif That or if they're for the hatchback and genuine Toyota I'd look at the possibility of someone having put on an aftermarket rear bumper cover. Either way, nothing Bondo won't fix. tongue.gif

yeah, if it's that big of a gap, I reckon it's the coupe/curren splitters. frown.gif

It MIGHT be the Currens like everyone is saying. Mine just from test fitting fit perfectly.

Do you have the rubber strips on the wheel arches in place? Could be that, if you don't.
