So I've desided I want to downsize to just having one celica of my own. So I'm going to swap the v6 into the coupe.
I figure this is a better time than never to get make a thread going into as much detail as I can about the swap.
This will mainly be for us that don't live in the smog Nazi states lol.
But will try to make the thread as smog friendly as I can

Too bad they cost too much money for not a lot of power.


With that money you'd be better off doing a custom turbo setup.

If I s/c I'm going with a custom setup instead of the TRD s/c

Plus I don't have anywhere close tontge funds needed to buy that right now

I'm noticing the same funding problem as I added the new shell to my project,. funds are drying up fast,... have to do my real job rather than work on my cars for a while.

Exhaust was getting done today and the test will be to go to IFO this Sunday so hopefully there is no hiccups

Awesome but the details are not there as you promised!😥 Love the lip, what is it? I noticed you pulled this engine out of another celica... What was wrong with it? I really want to do this swap, will have to ask you for details later when the swap happens.

The lip is a euro lip. There wasn't anything wrong with the other Celica. It was our test car.
