Speaking of I think he's in your area. In the shop section his mechanic friend is always talking about how everything turns into rusty junk there, it reminds me of you.

I'm sure it'll make everyone happy I finally decided on what car to get, after intense soul searching and mind numbing levels of researching for what I want in a car a 6-speed NB2 is the way to go. That way I get everything I want in a Miata from the factory and honestly I could be happy with it as is 100% stock; aside from really small stuff like tires, brake pads, shocks, fluids, etc... which are wear and tear maintenance anyway. Well, that and doing something with the headlights so I can see where I'm going at night... I really liked the '03 my brother had, so just the 6-speed in addition to make it more to my liking and better fit my end goals for it. Everything else is too big/heavy(especially in proportion to power), too rare, too expensive(purchase price and/or maintaining), too unreliable, or needs too much done to it to get it to a point I'd be as happy with it. So given the circumstances and all things considered it's the best choice. Hopefully can find a 2003 Special Edition or any of my preferred colours, watch any 6-speeds I do find will be ****ing bright red...

I should only have the Firebird up for trade for a 6-speed NB2 that's not Classic Red, there we go perfect solution. laugh.gif

Should make room, it'd make it easier knowing it was going to a good home. Then I could start my search for the ideal Miata to try and fill the void in my soul.

NO DEAL. It might actually change your outlook on American cars if you gave it the chance, and by American cars I mean those that're V8, manual, and RWD since most anything else is still junk.

I've actually thought about that, get one for a grand and turn it into a speedster because why not.

If it helps these were made in Canada. The build quality and engineering has actually impressed me, I went in expecting all the stereotypes and PlaySkool dashboard aside it's actually a fairly nice car considering what it cost new and how much you actually got for the money. They weren't any more than a Celica GT of the same year actually(for the Formula or Camaro Z28), if that puts things into perspective.

Considering everything I know about your firebird it would be a solid contender. Biggest thing its rust free. While I'm up north it's horrible for finding something that isn't rusted out already. I have a 90 accord 5 speed that was too cheap to pass up for a nice flip. That's first on the list to go.

Yup, has been in Alabama it's entire life short of the journey on a truck from Canada and when the previous owner went to college in Georgia before moving to Japan.

Nice, what happened?

So I'm even more JDM now, I gots JDM toothpaste!
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0016GCZSC/
It's ALL in Japanese, but it's supposed to be some pretty legit stuff for fixing sensitive teeth the right way and not just masking the symptoms. I'm going to give it a whirl, using it at night, and see how I look at my next checkup in 6 months. I have generally good teeth already but a sensitive one that annoys me sometimes, here's to hope!

Medications and inherent vitamin and mineral deficiencies of fibro ****ed mine up, thankfully stopping those particular meds and starting vitamin and mineral supplements seems to have halted it. Of course still need to get them all fixed, hopefully they can be saved with digital dentistry. As far as vitamins and minerals that helped me; magnesium, calcium, vitamin D, and vitamin K.

Might look into having blood tests done to check for vitamin and mineral deficiencies if the toothpaste doesn't do it. That or if you have chronic dry mouth, that's a problem. All of my medications caused it and was just as much of an issue as the deficiencies.

It's cause I have a molar off at a bad angle and the gum receded off the side of it exposing the dentin in a small area that should be below the gum line, just the one tooth in one area but it's enough to hurt with cold water if it gets over there.

We had severe thunderstorms roll in a few weeks back, and we used that as the "date" and the previous storm/hail damage from previous years to get insurance to pull the trigger.
