thanks castrol, i totally agree, i love my ride when it was black, but now that its white you can see the curves of the body even more

Man. And I thought I had good friends. They only helped me apply decals and put rotors on.. sheesh tongue.gif

Seriously though, this looks great. I like the black top as well. Makes it really stand out. Doesn't a new white paint job have so much depth on this car? I've seriously never seen a car take to white as well as a Celica.

Looks great. I would, however, straight kill somebody for parking over a puddle with your newly painted car.

Why not drive around in it now? It's not like you guys have snow atm. It's warm for this time of year for everyone, and I know that while you guys typically have snow now, it's in the 40s and 50s this month. Enjoy it while you can!

It looks great btw. GT-Fours are like the only thing you Canadians have that I'm jealous of.....well besides deadmau5.........and free clinic/hospitals................and my fiancee. tongue.gif Nevermind.

oh your fiancee's in canada? niiiice, and ya i would be driving it right now but i dont wanna take the chance, snow here in winnipeg gets pretty bad, once i drove my car as long as i could and got stuck in the snow cuz it just dropped like crazy out of nowhere, so i dont really take any more chances like that, but ya, and its a pain in the a$$ to cover it up and park in in the spot that i do hehe

How does the Celica do in the snow? I'd imagine it would do great... seaming as it was used in rally races. The front wheel drive versions should do fine as it's not rear wheel drive, and the Celica's footprint is good.

Yea, actually she's from Winnipeg. She's coming down here for good in just a couple weeks biggrin.gif.

Without a doubt, AWD > FWD in snow. However, my dad's office (back when I lived in Switzerland) was halfway up a mountain, and he had to drive on a really steep street in order to get there. In heavy winters, he was usually one of the only ones to make it up in his A4 when his coworkers in Bimmers and Mercs couldn't make it.

Well obviously the AWD are significantly better. However, I was curious if the FWD Celicas did alright.

Btw, if you ever want to trade Celicas, Kloudkicka, lemme know haha. Sigh, man sometimes I really do hate living in the states. tongue.gif

ya my car does pretty good in the winter, but my reasoning for not driving it throughout winter is cuz its a little low for the snow, once when i still had my blitz kit on i drove it through the winter and it felt like i was plowing through the streets haha

and really shes from winnipeg? niiice, wat a small world this is

The Celi CAN do alright in the snow. It has that potential. However, last winter, I had summer tires on the car, and since the car's a GT 5-speed, all it wanted to do was spin. No matter how lightly I took off. It was an experience. However, I'll be investing in some decent tires for winter before too long. I'll get back to you after the first snow... if it ever gets here. 60* in November? You fail, weather.

Kloudkicka, I don't blame you for not getting that thing out in the snow. You've put a lot of work into it. I wouldn't risk it either!
