what kind of IC piping you looking to get? i bought a couple ebay kit and it came out fine, but i wish i bought better quality piping. I was just going to do an ebay kit as well. I'm kind of nervous about how it going to weld, but I've got my fingers crossed. It costs a TON of money to have one custom fabricated. where did u get the oil pump for a gen 3 from www.lithiatoyotaparts.com These guys are able to source a pretty large amount of gen 3 parts, and for the really hard to find stuff I used: www.tcbparts.co.uk -------------------- ![]() |

You can go ahead and assume that I'm an idiot, but I did some searching around on this site and google, but I still have a question, and it likely has a pretty common sense answer...
What oil filter are you guys using on your 3rd gen 3sgte? Is it just the 2nd gen filter that I can buy at any local toyota? -------------------- ![]() |

I figured that was the simple answer. Thanks for the responses guys.
Small update... I got my new oil pump installed, and the timing is all set to go. Just have the oil pans left. -------------------- ![]() |

Two days ago, my roommate and I went to install the upper oil pan, and get the motor completely sealed up only to find that we had a big clearance issue.
![]() These bolts right here stick down to low and were interfering with the oil pan, which was a HUGE set back. So we had to clean all of the FIPG off and modify the pan to fit. We took some measurements, and took a grinder to it. ![]() ![]() After a S#%t load of cleaning between test fits we finally found success. ![]() Motor is DONE! ![]() -------------------- ![]() |

poly mounts are definitely worth it!
i got some info on the IC piping that we talked about last week, for my IC piping i needed 11 90* bends 2 180* and i believe 3 45* bends. i bought 2 ebay kits and was a 2 90* bends short so i had to get another 180* bend to make 2 90* bends. this should help to give you an idea for what you might need for the piping. -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe

Yours is WRC, you have 3/8NPT holes threaded by oil filter, those can be used for the oil readings
