Ayers Autobody (friend from church) and he has one mechanic.

The old engine spun a rod bearing in december.. so my friend and i rebuilt it, but didn't machine the crank or put oversized bearings in... well a few weeks ago, the engine just died again.. so we are thinking those bearings didn't sit right.

so I just went with a remanufactured one so its a new engine with a 3 year 100,000 mile warrenty.

Awesome! Glad to hear that you got the troubles sorted out. smile.gif That motor looks pristine.

Just remember.....with a fresh new motor, boosting it is always an option. wink.gif

I wish.. but my parents told me I can't open this engine.. its gonna stay new and untouched.. They just dont' want me to go through this trouble again..

and I can understand... so my only shot for boost was the 3sgte.. but didn't end up getting one..
