I would look around in Houston, there are several importers right in the city, and that will save a ton of money on shipping.

so basically most clips you buy have somewhere around 50 to 60k miles on them and they cost around $2.5k am i right

well that all depends on condition, what they include and what year/generation... lately ive been seeing the st185 go for about 1800-2000 and the st205 go for about 3k, also some will include some body panels and what not, it really depends on what you want out of your clip... as far as mi, unless it has the gauge cluster on it, there really no way to know the mileage, you just kinda have to go by averages, could be extremely low, could be extremely high, all part of the risk involving swaps, but thats why you want to get one with tests and warranties and what not...
but ill have to look into houston imports around the city, havent really done much but wasnt sure if anyone knew of anyone reputable in the area

My friend just put in a clip from Jarco inc. We had no issues and everything was in great shape. Only took a week to get it. That's where I plan to get mine from.

Yea, most of the ones off ebay are from Superior Trading, which is located in Arlington texas...there are enough importers in texas that i would try and go with one of those to save on shipping.

yeah, the couple of "importers" i called here in houston didnt have anything, in fact they didnt even know what i was talking about when i said front clip, or half cuts or any of that, so i figured couldnt be too reputable... but yeah... ive been in contact with superior trading, so... we'll see

Jarco Inc is trustful. They are REAL import parts dealers. They aren't fake at all and they are very proffesional like. Like for example, my boy just recently bought a 1JZGTE front clip for his 91 Toyota Supra. When he asked them if they had any, they sent him actual video clips of each 1JZGTE front clip (vinz, labels, car running, revving, etc.) from the day before they send him a reply.

Do the world a favor:

1. Get rid of that large font.

2. Look around. From the sticky in the engine forum:

1. 2JZ-GTE - This is the engine that resides in the '93-'98 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo. There is absolutely no way that this engine can be swapped into a sixth generation Celica easily or cheaply or legally, plus, the 3S-GTE swap(keep reading...it's down below) is so much better. For more on this, please read Charlie's excellent post below.
