lol...I have this odd feeling that a lot of ppl here have a lack of pigmentation
 I'm half white, half French Caribbean...and I know a lot of ppl are gonna be like "French is white (European) so just shut up and say you're white" but I believe that you should try to know as much about your heritage as possible, and while my dad has an odd background, my mother is 100% French; her parents came from St. Barths, a French island...so I'm half French. Woot! edit: yeah, okay, I'm white

It is true...it's getting better, very slowly, but yeah...
ever notice that "Multicultural" events really just mean "Non-White" events? The idea of "White Heritage" is going to be attached to the idea of racism until people realize that White people have a culture too...it's not like whiteys were in America forever, they came from European countries with histories, and hell, those countries have cultures (not to say that America doesn't have any)... this is kind of why I make sure to point out my French side...I don't know what the hell my dad was, and most white people have no idea what country their ancestors came from, but my point is that no one is really allowed to be "proud" of being white (like every other race is allowed to do) because we supposedly have no culture to celebrate or be proud of, our history is tainted, as said above... So the question is...what are some things that are a part of "white culture" to laugh at, admire, or just plain point out... we invented polka and line dancing! woot! -------------------- "I bet you drive a standard."
