if your autox, then go with a coil over set up

Pockets wont allow that..

also I believe I can stay in G-Stock class with TRD springs.. instead of STS or DSP[BMW Domination]

no rolleyes.gif

the spring rate will tell you how stiff the ride will be. higher spring rate means stiffer ride

what I meant was 'No, thats not why he wanted to know the spring rate. he wants the spring rate to tell how stiff they are'

anyway. Daftboy, 130 sounds like a good price to me. are they used? new ones gor for around 200

it's cool. that .5 in shouldn't matter much, still not low enough to be a snow plow.

anyway, I have the TRD springs in my GT. They offer a drop of 1.5 in the front and 1. inch in the rear. If you can get a set for $130, then do it. And yes, they are the same as the eibach pro kit.

what else would you like to know smile.gif

if u look at the individual spring picture, it looks like someone pulled on both ends of the spring, likeits not coiled tightly. could just be the angle. but if i was intersted in them, id ask for another pic

Hell yea thats a good price, I got my TRD set a year ago for about 180 dollars or so. They are pretty stiff, I actually like them in terms of comfort and stability than my Intrax. The net says it will drop 1" all around but like batman says, it really is 1.5 in front and 1" in back. For a moment there, I thought I was the only one who had a bigger drop. heh.

I had those springs. I think that "they're the same as the prokit" is an internet myth. I have read several posts on mr2oc.com that suggest that the TRD springs (made by Eibach) are linear and not progressive (like the prokit and sportlines). I understand that most people that try both like linear springs more.

I liked mine and would buy them again.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

those TRD springs pictured are progressive, but possibly less progressive than most. the coil spacing is not even, it gets closer (stiffer) at the bottom. Linear rate springs have evenly spaced coils from top to bottom.
