the "ding king" (that tv dent remover) i hear works ok for certain kinds....my dad works at a place where the test products like that. (Consumers Union) they publish a magazine with ratings and what not, for those who didnt know.

I'm taking an autobody class right now, you'd be surprised how large a small dent really is.

how large of an area appears to be pushed in? usually hand sized and larger pop right out easily, but smaller ones like quarter sized require some work because of how the metal has changed.

it may sounds funny but heres what I was told to try for the doors, which I did:

take off your door panel (window up) and reach in with a spoon to push the dents out.

I wasn't able to push hard enough to get out the dent I wanted to but I actually did manage to reduce it by a lot smile.gif

ALRIGHT : my qualifications - 2yrs of collision class in highschool while also working for an actual body shop for 2.5 years doing minor dings to full on restorations, currently enrolled in Wyotech..

http://www.fournierenterprises.com/bullseye.htm
a bulls eye pick is the best way to get a dent out w/o filler. BUT you will probably need paint still, I do not reccomend this to anyone who hasn't used it before because you will more than likely stretch the metal on your car and cause an oilcan....which is MUCH worse than a ding.
Paintless dent repair....the equipment is expensive and you need years of expierience to do. also most PDR pepole drill holes in he jamb of your door in order to get to the back of the dent and then plug them...rust problems
normal ole pull it out, body fill it and prime it...easiest adn cheapest...not the prettiest BUT again cheep and easy. primer isnt the prettiest thing to see on a car on the road...but i have some on mine...hehe..

as for the ding king thing...the one on tv is for the most part a rip off. first off its not good quality, the real good ones cost more and work in a completely different manor. 2nd thing is that a ding king is majorly flawedd because of the two pads that are put on your car...they can easily casue 2 larger dents insteasd of having the one that you were trying to get rid of.

in my opinion if you really want to get the dent out either pay a paintless dent repair guy and tell them not to drill holes. OR do it yourself but be VERY careful.

hope this helps you out and if you have any questions send me a PM
