One question. Do you need change ECU from automatic to manual after swap manual tranny in to the ST Celica? I did not do that. No problems with that, but when I try take off really fast, it will drop rpm and lose a power for a split second and I have to play with a clutch get it roll. I thing that is a ECU problem. What do you guys think????

when you let the clutch out the RPMs drop a few hundred and you have to compensate for it using the gas pedal. thats just what happens with manual transmissions.
maybe I'm just not reading your question right? -------------------- |
