i thought the GT-4 celica was only exported to the usa in 1988 as an alltrac, but i saw one today for sale on a military base for 2700. looks amazingly clean for an 87; cleaner than my car.
just sayin...

it was probably listed as 87 on the manufacture sticker on the door jamb, but sold as an 88 since many cars are made one year before they're sold.
i don't think 87 alltracs or gt4s existed.. am i right?

True, but they Were being made in Japan, maybe as early as '86 ?

RHD or LHD ? If it was a military base, could've been an '87 JDM GT4 badged as an AT ?
Military personal can drive in other countries or import a car back to the US for personal use.
