Hey all,

Haven't posted much lately because I work from 6am-10pm. But 3 weeks ago the painter picked up my car for a new paintjob and to complement the 3S-GTE swap, a GT4 front end.

What has been done.

- Dual Exhaust is gone, gonna go for a 3/2,5" system with Aussie DP and a Apexi N1 Turbo Universal muffler
- Replaced 94-95 Euro skirts for 96+ skirts
- Fixed rear bumper, someone took the liberty of hitting it without leaving a note!
- Installed the Raiser Blocks from doGGy, had them for about 15 months laying in the back of the car, now they are finally on!!!
- Total GT4 front end, money was no problem I wanted it to be exactly as a GT4 so Frame Brackets, latches, pushin pins everything I needed that I did not salvage from my ST205 wreck, I ordered new. Hood+vents, Crash Bar, bumper parts and fog lights were salvaged
- Finally the Gauges + Lotek Apillar are in the car. Someone did it for me, I didn't have time for it myself.

So here are a few pics I took from bodyshop till now.

I bought a JDM Wreck in february for 5000 Euro, it had a damaged front bumper but hood and other parts were salvageable. Had to buy a new bumper and right 96+ sideskirt. Some guy swapped the engine in for free if he could keep the leftovers of the wreck, already sold the JDM Tails/antenne and a few misc. items from the interior but moreover I could keep the GT4 front end parts laugh.gif

All in all the swap/conversion and paintjob costs me about 8000 Euro's in total.

Kadett - are these 5zigen GN+ ? If so - god damn i hate you biggrin.gif these are my dream wheels.... Agrrr - gonna satifie my self with Volk's Daytona what i have now... frown.gif

And these SLM gauges.... Oil pressure gauge will stop working after 1 month biggrin.gif You will see biggrin.gif And dont even think about getting the Electric with stepping motor gauges from SLM - just the advice wink.gif

BTW - your car looks amazing. Just like the real "4" - now get the front Extensions biggrin.gif

Positive response from doGGy bowdown.gif bowdown.gif smile.gif

Yes they are 5Zigen GN+, they are just GREAT on black cars. About the SLM gauges, SveNRG has them for about 1 year in the car with no problems, but we'll see. And about the front, no I dont want extensions. I want a C-one front lip, just like the one you fitted on Tom Poz his 4, but then the real deal not a replica. But it is 650 euro's delivered frown.gif

Other option is Eurou front lip. These 2 are the only clean frontlips out there for the original GT4 bumper.

BTW this is what the car look liked when I first bought her (these pics are from the previous owner)

I have come a long way since then. Except for the T23 Side blinkers there is no exterior mod left from it laugh.gif

Kadett, bowdown.gif Awesome. If your going to do anything to the front end, you have to go GT-4 bumper spoiler! Im pretty sure thats a factory part, but I dont know the number.

You mean like this??

IPB Image

I dont like that spoiler either. + With the tein at there current setting and with The Netherlands being a speed bump country it will not survive very long.

Front extensions are out of the question because they only flow well with the "Wide/TRD" sideskirts and not with the 96+ skirts.

The only option I really really really like is the C-one

Yes I know this is pure sex, but a few things I dont have

1 No Chrome Work Meister S2R rims
2 No silver painted front, looks messy on a black Celi.
3 No red Celi wink.gif

And still that lip would be about 5 cm/2 " above the ground with the teins on current settings. And you really just dont know how freaking much of does speedbumps you have here. In my town EVERY cross section in the old part of town has speed bumps. So every 200 meters you have to go 1km/h as not to destroy the lip.

BTW I did guess the Lip right. Only placed SveNRG's picture as reference.

Ya, I hear ya about the speed bumps and being that low. Trust me I've got Intrax, with drop another inch more then tiens. Whatever you do decide to do, your car is still awesome.

The car looks great!

BTW, what do you have now as far as exhaust? Did you go from dual to single? Why? I mean, other than going for the complete GT4 look.

Still have a part of the old system. Cut off the old exhaust behind the muffler tip. When the Apexi N1 muffler comes in the car goes to an exhaust shop nearby for a full 3" system. Then in Januari I will order an Aussie DP.

But the Dual exhaust is truly gone, the whole made in the rear lip has been fixed. Was really bad for permance to, already feeling like the exhaust flow is a bit better.

Wheels themselves are 18 inch with a 35 tyre wrapped around them. Suspension is Tein Super Street on stock/preset ride height as they were from the package. I guess its 40mm lowered compared to a stock Celica.

In my search for more dealers for C-one products I came across the next website.

www.kinwaymotorsports.com

Price in total + shipping would be 640 dollars from there. 340 for the lip itself and around 250-300 dollars for actual shippings costs (from USA->Europe) Since 1 dollar = 0.75 Euro its better doing business through the USA then via Japan.

Has anyone here done business with this company?

Gonna keep my lips closed on the total figure. Painter is a friend of mine, if you guys know the price I cant really face myself on here anymore smile.gif

Let's just say it has been done the good way, all windows out, everything that was even a bit worn/bad immediatly replaced by brand new OEM Toyota parts. The bill I had from the Toyota dealer was almost more then what I had to pay to my friend tongue.gif

You should count the customs Fee + VAT whne sending it from somthere outside EU... so another +16% and dont know how much charge will take your customs - so in the end it might roll up even higher..

Im making one order atm from Japan - and i may ask for the C-one lip there too if you intrested.
