I couldn't watch the first one because it pains me to see a Supra like that. but I did see Tokyo Drift and I must say it was really funny... although I'm not sure if it was meant to be

People talk a lot of **** about the first movie not being accurate. But i think it is the most accurate movie ever haha. People are always like, "omg people in the movie have no idea what they are talking about!", But thats soo real cuase most people at meets like to talk out their ass and have no clue how anything works haha. F&F had a lot of colorful, yet not too tasteful cars that many people don't like. Yep yep, that seems pretty real life to me. Is it just me though, or do the asian bad guys just kind of get screwed over for no reason at all? I mean, in the first movie, the guy didn't even do anything and then he had to cops raid his house, and the guy that ACTUALLY did do something wrong got away, cuase he's Vin Diesel and who doesn't like Vin Diesel haha. Hmm.. Ok and in Tokyo Drift, if you look at it, DK did nothing wrong but got completely screwed over. First of all, some random guy comes in, and tries to pick up his girl and acts all badass. Then, DK asks him to stay away, which doesn't help much apparently. Then his partner Han steals money from him, and so then in the movie, he gets his girl stolen, money stolen, his DK title stolen, and his home since he was forced to leave. Wth man!? I think thats kind of messed up hahaha.

Yeah, but then they will probably show 800-1300hp Supras and 700-800hp STI's beating Ferraris and Porsches. wink.gif

True, but as it's London and the traffic is soooo bad then pedestrians often beat Ferraris laugh.gif laugh.gif

Just cuz its supposed to be in London doesnt mean that they have to film it in London. 90% of Jackie Chans movie Rumble in the Bronx was actually filmed in Toronto Canada and most of Tokyo Drift's street racing scenes were taken in Los Angeles. Its Hollywood.

its not difficult. dude, they built a one mile long highway in the desert for Matrix 3 just for that one highway chase scene (with trinity on the crotch rocket). they built that highway and painted lines and put up those sound barriers and those exit ramps just for one scene.

and like shin said in F&F3, they put up those japanese neon signs and repainted everything to make it look like Tokoyo. all that was taken place in LA. its their job to do stuff like that.

Think Monaco Grand Prix. There was talk of moving the British Grand Prix location to London:

London Grand Prix
Official Site

If they can hold a Grand Prix race in London every year, a film company could certainly spend a few days filming on location.

Realism doesn't bother me that much with a movie like that. I'm an air force pilot, and Air Force One, Top Gun, Iron Eagle, and all those other movies are craaaaazy ridiculous! But I watch them for the entertainment value and I try not to let the inaccuracies bug me too much. So I say, bring on FAF4!!!

Tokyo drift has some of the nicest cars made to man-kind.. In fact a instructor at my old tech school sold his car to tokyo drift for a couple hundred thousand dollars.. Think it was the supra, not sure.. But some of those cars are cars that car enthusiests just like us made and got offered lots of money to sell tongue.gif

Dont disgrace the beauty.

The cars really were not that bad in any of the movies minus the graphix. <= see how that happened? I personally don't like graphix of any kind so the only fault I find in the cars is the graphix. It's all about personal tastes. I'm pretty sure none of you can say that there wasn't a car in one of the movies that you really liked minus the...
Personally I liked the EVO in tokyo drift alot as well as the Supra in FF1, the evo in FF2.
Did anyone besides me see the 6th gen behind the MR2 when they were rolling out to the first race in FF1? The only way you can tell is to spot the headlights and then follow it when the MR2 eclipses it and you can make out the lines when it becomes visible out the other side. It's there.
