So ive had a set of gauges for i dunno how long and im sick of them sittin in my room, so im gonna install em tomorrow, so i just need to figure out where the oil pressure sending unit is. I tryed lookin on the programs we have at the school, but they have like NO info on any toyotas...Any ways, any one know where it is/can post a pic?

the knock sensor is located on the back of the engine wink.gif

right..thanks man. I was told by my mechanic that it was the knock sensor, but i was thinkin it should b on the back of the engine. do u by chance have a pic of some one using a t-fitting and an electric oil pressure sending unit on it?

Man.........if your mechanic told you that was the knock sensor he needs a new job.

I have since dumped this unit as it was no good... i would recommend using a mechanical oil guage.

http://www.alamomotorsports.com/greddy/grd...ockadapter.html i used to install my pressure guage. It makes install REALLY easy. Goes right under the oil filter with the supplied adaptor. I got mine from showstoppersusa.com

confused.gif $21.10?? owned.gif WOW! i got mine from a place that sells industrial fittings and stuff like that and it was $2.50 looks easy enough..to bad i gotta get a new pigtail for my sender. guess i gotta put a post up. Thanks guys, ill post pics when im done workin on the car and got gauges and stuff in.

EDIT: Also, whats the best route to run the wires for guages?? I was thinkin of runnin em through the same way i ran the wires for my fog lights and amp power line through the grommet in the drivers side inner fender and up through where the battery is. Is there an easyier way of runnin em? Im gonna b runnin oil pressure, volt and A/F. For powering the Volt and the lights, im gonna tap into the cig lighter's power source.
