So i got my phone back from my ex and went thru it and he didnt delete texts messages so i went thru them to find out he was texting with some chick he knew online. She wrote something to the effect of "if you were here id make out with u" and he wrote back "im jealous of the lucky guy"

he doesnt think that is like mentally cheating.

he just lost any chance to get back with me down the line thats for sure. im over even talking to him.

we were going to break up either way. he was thinking about doing it. its just that i called it off first. i just dont get him cuz i talked to him on the phone this morning and he was all depressed and said he was really bummed about this all. im just afraid hes trying to keep me around so that he can have me if he wants. i dont wanna be that girl. if he genuinely wants to work on being a better man then thats fine. i wont wait for him but if he wanted to give things a try in a month or so and i was still single and was willing to be honest about everything then id do that. but i told him if he does any hooking up with girls then he will have lost his chance 100 percent cuz thatll gross me out.

oh no they were written a week and a half before we broke up.

ive decided i will probably only find myself getting more hurt if i continue talking to him. so im going to do my best to not. if he talks to me then maybe ill respond but im not going out of my way. im not going to get strung along by being told that he may want to try an 'us' situation again down the line.

You need a sugar-daddy cause money means soooo much to you. This is not critism - I'm serious. He doesn't necessarily have to 90+yo and nasty. I know plenty of girls who date for money first then love. Most of the time they have to try 2-3 rich guys before they find one that buys them everything and that they actually like but they always do. Plus you get to spend up all the guys cash while you figure it out. There are plenty of attractive guys who have lots of cash, a future and are looking for girls who want to be pampered and spoiled.
Why not actually look for everything you want in one package?
Oh and BTW - No that's not cheating but it's disrespectful enough to get rid of someone.

so now what? hes written me a couple of times saying he misses me and truly cares about me and wants to be with me but we both know that right at this moment in time we cant be. He has things to work on and im kinda doing my own thing to better myself.

If he really wanted to get back with you, he should have no problem giving up this random girl for you... The fact that he isnt really giving up on her is a red flag in my eyes.

Breaking up and then getting back together sucks too... I went through that a couple times with my last bf and it seemed that each time we got back together there were even more problems then before... It was an endless cycle. We break up, get back together, only to breakup again... You feel trapped almost it seems like.

Stick to your reasons for the breakup and hold on tight to them. I dont think you wanna make the same mistake I did...

My friend found her BF on several dating sites just a day after they "took a break" then when they got back together a few days later he refused to delete himself from the dating sites because he didnt see the big deal...sooo I dunno why some guys think its ok to do that? Makes the other person feel like sh!t & like they arent good enough.
