Hope on Monday I will manage installation and of course take some pictures smile.gif. Only issue I have is setting kindasad.gif. I have received only Japanese manual so I do not know how to set rate (hard/soft) or height and do not make mistake or something... just in case... anyone here knows?

up and down is super easy.
@ the bottom of the spring you see 2 green perches that have the "teeth" type deal, spin the bottom perch left (down) then you can adjust the upper perch that the spring sits on, Just make sure to count threads and ensure that L & R thread counts match so you have an even ride high. Then once you have the upper set correctly spin the bottom perch back up to the upper perch once they are snug together, spin the bottom right and top left at the same time so they "lock" together.

and i think if you remove the black cap on the very top of the assembly you will see the dampening adjustment

Wait, the rear doesn't have camber adjustability? How are you supposed to change the camber in the rear?

Have these on mine, superb piece of kit. biggrin.gif

I did not have to adjust any rear settings on mine after fitment, the laser alignment gave me a spot on reading.

LUCKY!! Also I see your have the pillowball mount on yours hheeh, but heard those were for the ST202 models, they should also work with the st204's right? Anyway, jealous that you got those, Hopefully I'll get myself a set in the future but for now I'll just kick it with my KYB's, tein springs........and cusco mounts yeee tongue.gif just bought'em can't wait to install.

To D-Man: I hope so smile.gif my stock upper mounts started knocking so I had to decide... new upper mounts now and new shocks soon (since I have almost new Tanabe springs on now) or just put money on coilovers.
To playr158: thanks a lot... it sounds easy. You know since it's for JDM model kit I have received it with Japanese manual only!!! There is no a single word in English on it. I hope I will not make any mistake during installation...
To 2bcelica: I hope they fit ST204 suspension because my AT200 has the same one smile.gif. That means if I fit them, it's tested for US models as well wink.gif. And price. I have payed $1880 shipped (paypal fees included). It's big and heavy box (31kg~68pounds) so shipping is not cheap kindasad.gif
To xs94st: you bet I will post as much as I can. I have put my money to prove ST202 kit will fit AT200/ST204 as well so I want to share! smile.gif
To GotToyota: I hope I will not need that camber adjustability for rear... I mean I hope if it's tailored for ST202 and it's fine it will be fine for AT200 as well...
To frisp: so you should tell more about that dampening adjustment... or have you received manual in English? I see you are from Scotland so you should be more lucky with that manual smile.gif
To airfron: me too smile.gif I'm bit sad I have swapped Tanabe brand for TEIN. Sustec pro II must be amazing! Pity they do not sell it with upper mounts kindasad.gif. That's the main reason why I have bought this kit.
To _mikeE: exactly... those pillows made me buy it. There are only two kits with upper mounts included for 6gc on market. K2 G4 and those TEINs I have.

I didn't get a manual with mine, all I did was set all shocks to "click" adjustment 10 from the lowest setting, then adjusted from there by how the car felt and behaved on the road. I'm still using position 10 by the way. biggrin.gif

Malpaso: I'd be surprised if you didn't need to adjust the rear camber. I lowered my car with lowering springs, and the camber all around the car was changed. This is why I like the Ksport/D2's, because they have the camber pillowball mounts on the front and rear coilovers.

Today is that great day I put my new suspension on smile.gif. Looks amazing and drives amazing! Unbelievable change... So theory is confirmed. ST/GT struts (I mean Euro ST/GT) are fully compatible!!! That means anyone with ST204 can use JDM GT shocks! Swap was so easy... real plug and play job. Even my audience was bored how easy it was wink.gif. Get ready... here are few pics for you biggrin.gif

First my audience...
IPB Image
...that dog was really everywhere smile.gif

Here just removing stock shocks...
IPB Image

...and preparing ride height on new ones.
IPB Image

As you see everything fits perfect.
IPB Image

IPB Image

IPB Image

The same for rear. First remove old ones...
IPB Image

...and fit new ones.
IPB Image

IPB Image
Plug and play... everything to single bolt.

Here all finished. Front is dropped more than rear (about 10mm).
IPB Image

And finally my audience totally bored smile.gif

Good work smile.gif. So the only difference between the 2 different sets is that the GST86-B1SS4 set came with the Pillowball top mounts and the DSL36-KUSS2 doesn't? So for the guys who didn't buy the GST86-B1SS4 set, (like me) would only have to buy the Tein top mounts and they would be identical correct? I'm only wondering because of the whole EDFC issue. According to Tein, the EDFC fits only the GST86-B1SS4. So I'm just wondering if the only thing needed to make EDFC compatible with the DSL36-KUSS2 is to install the pillowball mounts as well?

About that difference. Many people say it's the same set just one with upper mounts and second w/o... HOWEVER since I have GST86-B1SS4 set in my hand I do not believe that much. Here is why:

a) adjustment range is different.
GST86-B1SS4
front -24mm ⇔ -70mm
rear -12mm ⇔ -65mm

DSL36-KUSS2
front -29mm ⇔ -60mm
rear 27mm ⇔ -29mm

b) spring rate is different.
GST86-B1SS4:
front 4 kgf/mm
rear 3 kgf/mm

DSL36-KUSS2:
front 7 kgf/mm
rear 5 kgf/mm

c) part numbers for springs are different.
GST86-B1SS4:
front D040-7NC
rear C030-7OC

DSL36-KUSS2:
front SB070-01200
rear SG050-01250

d) EDFC part number is ''different''.
GST86-B1SS4:
EDK05-12140

DSL36-KUSS2:
Not Compatible

height
front: drop set by tein (25mm)
rear: as highest as possible (63mm)

those mm is not drop, it's measurement from picture below:

hardness
front: 10clicks from hardest setting
rear: 20clicks from hardest setting

Any chance you'll drop it lower? It'll look way better.

I know it would look better but this is the best setting I can have for local street and for my car. Having lower front means problems with speed bumps here kindasad.gif and rear is that high because of my muffler smile.gif. I always rub curbs during parking wink.gif
