Megan Racing Coil-Over Dampers are the ultimate upgrade to your track or street car. Featuring 32 Levels of damper force adjustment, full-height adjustment, these damper kits are then perfectly matched with front and rear Pillow Ball upper mounts for camber correction in most applications.

The adjustment of the damper is as simple as can be with a built-in knob at the top of the damper mount for easy access. Simple adjustments can be made to tune to your style of driving and comfort level desired. Single-Adjustable dampers make suspension adjustments easy to tune whether you're a professional mechanic or an automotive enthusiast with amateur mechanical skills.

The height adjustment is made easy with CNC-Machined locking perches for accuracy and smooth adjustment. You can raise your car up to factory height for OEM appearance with performance handling or you can drop your car all the way down for a formal racetrack and an aggressive stance lowering your center of gravity to gain full potential of your car's handling capabilities.

On most applications, the Megan Racing Damper Kits come with fully adjustable Pillow-Ball upper mounts to easily tune and adjust your camber. Adjustable camber gives you an edge on most suspension setups, as you can easily tune your car for any ride height which improves handling, predictability and furthermore tire wear, which is a great benefit both on the racetrack and on the street.

The quality and durability of the Megan Racing Damper kits are unmatched. Made of extremely durable Steel and featuring springs that are constructed of SAE-9254 Cold-Wound Steel which are then tested over 500,000 times by compression inspection. As stated at the bottom of the original post we attempted to contact Coomer via PM as instructed in the forum rules, but did not receive any response. Coomer's last post on the forums looks to be August of this year, so we went ahead and posted the GB. Hopefully an admin will take a look over this thread send a PM over letting us know if anything needs to be changed about the GB. If you will refer us to someone other than Coomer who we can get in touch with about this GB, it would be much appreciated! Until we are able to get in touch with Coomer or another admin, please check out our 6GC profile including feedback and also feel free to contact Megan Racing to confirm that we are an official distributor in good standing.

We currently do not have a date set. It will be running through at least the end of October.

These would be great with a swap. The car in the photo has a 5SFE, full exhaust, and HKS filter. The coilover upgrade alone made a world of difference. The difference will be even more significant in a higher powered Celica with a swap. Compared to other brands, the adjustability of these is amazing - 32 levels really is a large range! You can go from super stiff to super soft and anything in between. The stiffness adjustment along with the ride height adjustment and front pillowball camber plates really allows you to dial these coilovers in to the exact setup that will match your performance setup, wheels, body kit, etc. These are definitely worth keeping an eye on for when you finish the swap!

Low enough. I think he said he was at 3" or 3.5", you can probably do 4" no problem.

Unfortunately, the box is really large and heavy, so shipping is really expensive in the $200+ range via FedEx. This package is so large that even if you ship USPS, they hand it over to FedEx to finish the job! Please let us know if you are still interested in a quote and we will be glad to get an exact price based on your full address, but we just wanted to provide warning of the cost range first!

We don't have exact numbers on this, but on the black Celica in the pictures, the drop was probably in the 3" range but could have gone lower if we had smaller diameter wheels/tires. Depending on your drop, you should strongly consider Eibach Pro-Alignment Rear Camber Bolts for 90-99 Toyota Celica GT/ST FWD (exc. All-Trac).

Ahh, well we can't change that, but it should definitely go 3" or lower. We have them set with lots of 'thread' to spare in the photos above and the car is still lower than the TEIN S Tech's that were on prior to the install.

From the center of the fender lip to the center of the hub, the measurement on the black car is right at about 13" in both the front and the back. If someone can take this same measurement on a stock Celica, we will be able to know exactly how much the black Celica is lowered in the photos. Please see below for more info on how much lower these coilovers can go than we even have them set!

Here are two comparative photos to help when making your decision.
First photo shows pretty much the lowest the coilovers will go - any lower and the threaded sleeve would start coming through the bottom of the lower mount. The second photo shows after height adjustment was set to the levels you see on the black Celica. Pictured with one set of Eibach camber bolts. We ended up installing another set in the lower knuckles in order to achieve maximum clearance and minimal negative camber for the 17x8 WRX offset wheels and 235 tires. If you are using Celica offset wheels that don't result in such a clearance issue, you can see that you will have LOTS more lowering room than we used! Look at the difference in height between the two photos!

Pls give this guy a quote, haha its about time you got to this mod.

Anyways in the pic, why is the camber bolt set to give it negative camber by the inward facing tab? I believe facing the tab out corrects negative camber (by giving postive camber) unless you want negative.

I'm in, and hopefully two other people! Does this model come with the top mounts that allow the camber to be adjusted? Either way I am excited.

This model has front upper camber adjustment plates. The rears are not camber adjustable, so we recommend the use of the Eibach Pro-Alignment Rear Camber Bolts for 90-99 Toyota Celica GT/ST FWD (exc. All-Trac) if you need rear camber adjustment. We actually used two sets of these bolts in the black Celica pictured, but only one set in the upper knuckle bolt holes should do the trick in most cases.

Added you to the list in the original post! As soon as we have 2 more confirmed, we will publish the coupon code and payment can be made! Once the payment is received the coilovers will ship out!

Pls give this guy a quote, haha its about time you got to this mod.

Anyways in the pic, why is the camber bolt set to give it negative camber by the inward facing tab? I believe facing the tab out corrects negative camber (by giving postive camber) unless you want negative.

You crack me up man haha. Yeh i got pmd a quote. Its either this or Bc coilovers.

Still waiting on a finalized/best rate. Hopefully it will be better than the preliminary quote we got through FedEx!

Interested, tho how much do you think shipping will be to Australia?

Unfortunately, the box is really large and heavy, so shipping is really expensive in the $200+ range via FedEx. This package is so large that even if you ship USPS, they hand it over to FedEx to finish the job! Please let us know if you are still interested in a quote and we will be glad to get an exact price based on your full address, but we just wanted to provide warning of the cost range first!

Hey, ,im still interested. Quote would be great.

Anyways in the pic, why is the camber bolt set to give it negative camber by the inward facing tab? I believe facing the tab out corrects negative camber (by giving postive camber) unless you want negative.

These bolts can be super confusing, there is a tab that goes into the actual hole as well as that outer tab. You can't see the inner tab once the bolts are installed. The inner tab is in the opposite orientation as the outer tab and lines up with the elliptical/cam area of the bolt. You really have to play with these bolts and tab orientations once you get them to make sure you are getting the adjustment you are looking for. The installation you see there is definitely providing positive camber adjustment. We installed the bottom set of bolts opposite the first and got some additional positive camber adjustment. Hope this helps explain a little bit better. Let me know if there is any more info I can provide that may help!

Not sure about this. If there were any issue(s) with these coilovers, Megan Racing would handle applicable issue(s) directly under their warranty program. For instance if a strut failed, it would likely be covered. Since every situation is different, we suggest contacting Jose at Megan Racing at 626-581-0988 to discuss your concern and see if it would be covered under warranty.

No payments required until we get at least 3 commitments. Once we get 3 commitments, we will post a discount code to be used through our website checkout to receive this discount. The code can then be used by all members. We just need those initial 3 commitments to get it going.

really as in out of the box? no need for a spring compressor to assemble all components.

default setting w/ regards to the damper setting and ride height is what i meant.

These are complete coilover damper assemblies. Simply jack the car up, remove the factory strut/spring, and install these. They are 100% ready to go. They come with the height set to a moderate setting and the stiffness set to the stiffest setting. Give the knob on top of each strut a single 'click' (partial turn) for each level you'd like to adjust the stiffness. The knob has the Megan Racing logo and arrows pointing which direction to turn in order to go stiffer or softer. Adjusting height is also easy and can be done with the included hook/spanner wrenches that are included - even while the coilovers are on the car. Instructions with diagrams are included that describe all of these processes as well.

In short, you do not need a spring compressor. A couple of ratcheting wrenches and extensions, a socket set, and a breaker bar should get the job done. The breaker bar may be needed for stubborn factory bolts depending on how old and rusted your nuts/bolts are tongue.gif These coilovers do include new top mount nuts, so even if your factory ones are rusted, no worries, you will replace them anyway! This job is much much easier than replacing springs only or struts only, or even a spring/strut combo. Don't let the install intimidate you! Even if you don't want to install these yourself, your installer will be impressed with the quality and ease of installation for sure. For the money, this is hands down the most beneficial suspension upgrade available to the car and is a relatively easy installation. The results can instantly be "felt" as can any stiffness adjustments that are made once installed.

If you need further diagrams or install-guide help beyond what is included or just need some torque specs, check out http://www.UpscaleAutomotive.com at the bottom of the page. There is a link to a great site for service manuals and install information.

With this coilover set, you will have new springs, upper mounts, and strut assemblies - assembled, adjustable, and bolt-on at that!

Check out the pictures in this thread for photos of the entire assemblies installed.

These really are a steal of a deal! Not only will they replace a ton of old/rusty parts in your suspension, they make the car more enjoyable to drive and are fully adjustable for different conditions, even cramped college parking lots wink.gif

Let me know if you guys have any more questions!

We want to see these on your Celica and we are here to help! It is only December 1st, so keep check here on the forums and when it gets mid month or so, let me know how things are looking. I am sure we can work something out to help make this happen for you.

Not sure how you are planning to pay, but we do accept credit cards and we have info on a Discover card deal for $50 cashback and 0% APR til June at http://www.upscaleautomotive.com/t-financing.aspx that might help you out.

Sounds great upscale. To be honest with you more then likely I won't have the $850 by the end of the month. I'll try my best to have it all but I will preobally be short. Not backing out from the deal cause I want in on it, just a heads up. MAYBE if I get someone to loan me the money, the deal will fall thru faster and we'll both be happy.

And my method of paying will be using my debit Visa card via PayPal. I'm making about $300 a week if I get lucky so pretty hard saving up more then $100 a week for this deal. If we could work something out it'd be great but like you said lets wait till sometime mid Dec. and see where I'm at money wise.

Thanks again for tryng to work things out with me again. thumbsup.gif Companys like such are the ones that get customers like me that come back for more because the service is right.

Sounds good, if it comes down to making a deposit to lock in this deal, that should work. We won't require anything crazy, so don't worry about that. The last thing we want is for this deal to slip away from you.

Got some good news from Megan Racing! If we can get 3 people to commit to this by the end of December, we can keep this deal active through January! I have modified the original post with a list... as people commit, the list will fill up. If we can keep 3 people on that list, the deal stays open through January.

Sorry for the confusion, you aren't the first to overlook it. It is not extremely easy to see, but it is on the actual 'shopping cart' page that you can get to by clicking the 'shopping cart' link at the top of any page. Scroll down the page past the items in your cart and the optional add-on items and the coupon code entry box is there. Please let me know if you have any more issues finding it, I will be glad to send a screenshot if needed.

Ah, you guys should move it above the recommended purchases section. I didnt scroll past that since nothing is normally below it. smile.gif

Order was just placed for the GT/ST coils.

Got your order! Look for a tracker/shipment notification via e-mail by the end of the week!

Good idea about the shopping cart arrangement. The shipping estimator button is also under all those extra items and lots of people have a hard time finding it. I will see what we can do to get this rearranged.
