Haven't taken the RA out for awhile, so I thought I'd take it for a spin and take a few pictures tonight.

Awesome ride! Some fatter, wider tires would make it looks more aggressive.

And is it black or brown?

Either way hot car.

Thanks! Yep I agree that the car needs some much wider wheels, especially in the rear. But first I need to drop it, and change out the front and rear bumpers.

The car is brown, but the clear coat is flaking as you can tell in the pictures, and there is some body work that needs to be done, so I'm going to change the color of it. Still trying to decide on what the best color would be. Hmm...

Hahaha where are your pictures Jon? wink.gif

Do you think it will ever have enough power to spin tires Jon? I have this funny looking contraption that I think might help it out.

WHat lighting! Did you have to add any or that was all provided by the lot? Because those came out very clean Derrick.

Most of the lighting was provided by the lot, however it was still very dark because there was only 1 working light post in the entire lot. So I added just a tad of lighting to get some clearer shots. I'm going to try some darker shots with my main Celica (my partner in crime, the convertible wink.gif) tomorrow, and then probably try out some day time pictures with the ST today if time allows.

Absolutely beautiful. The sky matches your car's menacing look. I love the 6 gen to death, but you make the classic look good, even with a peeling clear I'd do anything for that car.

Oh I just used a quick flash from a distance, followed by extended exposure. I kept the flash really really minimal so you don't notice it, because you don't want to really use flash for night time photos. Mainly it was the long time exposure that helped me capture so much light in a low light area.

THANKS! Haha I actually didn't even notice that the sky looked that way until I got home and looked at the pictures. My heart still belongs to the 6th Gen, but this guy is just a little side project wink.gif.

Oh btw, so I did end up going out and testing out the camera in day light conditions, but realized that I don't like taking pictures in direct sunlight. So then I went to the woods and got some shots of the AT200 instead.

I'm guessing the ST is primer white? And would you mind posting a pic of the rims?

Haha, yeah it's mine. It's an AT200 automatic right now, but I'm changing it to a ST200? 5speed? Does that even make sense? Haha basically I'm going to be swapping in a lower mileage 5sfe to replace the 7afe, while also converting it to manual. Why not just swap in a 3sgte you say? Well because that costs money and I have that extra Celica GT parts car and s54 trans that I need to get rid of somewhere. wink.gif.

The car is actually Primer Grey, but shouldn't be for much longer wink.gif. The rims are Kosei K1's with TRD lug nuts and wheel locks. Haha yeah they didn't really show up too well in the picture huh? These are the ones, but mine are black. The specs on mine are 15x7 and should weigh about 13.5lbs each.

^ I was just wondering that today, why the ST was named AT200 and the rest of the line is ST20x...but I guess because there's only one ST model, while the GT has a few variations like GT-S, GT-4, and the various Australian/English models.

And yeah, the rims didn't show up at all...not that I necessarily care for pics, but I want to go flat black with mine, and I'm just not sure black rims belong on a silver car.

Nice looking AT200 though. I'd love to do a manual conversion as well.

I do have pictures of the rims on my Convertible Celica if that helps at all? Maybe you can use your imagination? It's an old picture, but it's dark outside at the moment so I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to get some clear pictures of the rims on the hatchback. Unless.... spontaneous photoshootz! This shall do for now.

No, I meant just a pic you had lying around...I didn't want you to take a fresh pic.

Black spoiler does look good on a lighter car...that gives me dirty thoughts. smile.gif

Ugh it's too late haha, I already went out and took new pictures! The rims still don't stand out very well since they are black, but I was inspired by the lighting and the foggy weather to take some Halloween inspired shots wink.gif.

Looks pretty damn nice. Are those TRD or SS-III splitters in the rear, and are you planning on keeping the panda (black hood/hatch) look or is that just because you bought the parts that way?

Yep! Those are SS-III splitters in the rear. I'm going to be repainting the entire car to a different color, so the hatch it going to be repainted for sure, but idk about the hood. I'm thinking about modifying the front bumper to accept the GTfour hood.

2 year old bump!

As the previous owner of the car I gotta say its nice to see her in decent condition.

I butchered her and was just starting to get her back on track when I woke up with an SUV on my hood going down the freeway.

Nice to see her come back to life.

Hey DC how you been!? I replaced a lot of the stuff on the car and even got new anniversary edition floor mats, rear view mirror and hatch for it (cause someone smashed the window on the hatch that it came with) so that everything matched. It was a great car, but I did end up selling it to another member on here who lost his Celica. The new owner of the car is xs94st. Great guy and I'm sure he will take great care of the car smile.gif. Are you still working on the RX?

Is that a CF rear hatch? If so, how much lighter is it than the OE one?
