celica videos...1 week deadline, post up yours Options

alright guys...gonna have a little competition with-in this week. I have messed around with the windows movie maker a little bit but i always end up getting fustrated and delete what ever progress i had made. This week will be different

Basically..i want you guys to compile your pictures and videos and make a custom celica movie all on your car. looking more for like music with pictures fading out into a video, back to pictures...the usual car video.

The deadline for this will be next saterday the 19th at 12:00...submissions will begin sunday morning at 12:01 am -12:00 PM. After that i will set up a poll and we can vote on which video was the best put together.

I would like to learn more about how to make videos on the computer, also when you post your video, distinguish what program exactly you used. i know some are better then others...and i have the most basic, but im just curious to see what everyone can come up with.

Its funny that you are starting this thread because I got bored once and did create a video of my car's progress, with all the things you described. Dont expect to win but im def gonna post it up and get some feedback.

no not JUST pictures...videos as well..i want both videos and pictures incorporated into it

see...i have mostly videos of only being on the street...not nessaciarly "speeding" but vids of full throttle that i think i want to put into the video...i dont think it will be a problem as long as theres no video clips of street racing...This is NOT what im lookin for guys...i wanna be able to do this without breaking any rules on the site...i think that should explain it enough

That's a lot of work for some of us. I don't have a camera, so the only shots I could use would be from a group project I did where my exhaust drowns out some of the conversation. Sounds badass, but in terms of a car video it wouldn't work out very well.

What kind of rules are there? 1 week isn't a very long time to make a good video, especially since it seems like people are able to enter videos that they have already made in the past. I'm not complaining, cause I did enjoy watching Art's video again , but maybe some more guidelines would help. I have a few questions.

1. Does this video have to be about our own Celica?

2. How long do you want the videos to be?

3. Do you want us to post the videos on YouTube or other source and post a link to it on this thread?

4. Because of my work schedule, I will only have 1 day to shoot, edit, and submit my video. That was not a question, but I just wanted to let you know, so that when you see my entry, you may have pity on me.

alright guys...im not looking for top notch professional stuff here...just take a few clips, and a couple pictures...throw them together in like a movie/music/picture video...throw some effects at it and post it up...it can be as long or as short as you want...just do what you can basically thats all....and before i started i thought that a week wasnt going to be enough time either...but now that i have been messin around with the movie maker i could have one done tomorrow...but i want to take the extra time to try and learn other effects you can incorporate into the video.

so basically just compile everything you have, make a video, and post it up....not hard...then FOR FUN we will make a poll and vote on which one we think was the best....i would like to have new frsh videos "cough cough ART cough" not ones that have been made before, something new...but i do like that video.

and like i said before put up what program you used to make the video

Yeah nice job Ian. I have lame videos and the stuff in there isn't ok for 6gc. I want to make a special tribute video, but it is going to take some time and I have no intentions on making it until I get a lot of footage, and some footage when she is complete.
