Hi my name is Jazlyn, I live in Corpus Christi, TX and I am new to this Celica build. I own a 94 Celica St, and looking to rebuild her. My main focus is Performance, looks, and reliability. I wanna learn as much as I can and look forward to meeting and learning from everyone.

The first modification I've done so far. Still have a long way to go tho. But its a start.

Nice pick up, looks nice and clean! Not much performance to gain from the 7a, but if you need parts for it, there is plenty all around this board.

Well here are my ideas for the build.

Exterior:
Gt-4 front end (hood & front bumper)
JDM side marker lights
Projector Headlights
Cobalt Blue paint
Lil-Joe101's spoiler
JDM Tail lights

Interior:
mostly stock except stereo, tint, and gauges

Coilovers
front and rear strut bars

Performance:
Im not doing to much on performance right not since Im still learning everything but I will once I start learning and getting the hang of everything. But for right now Im just gonna go with this:

short ram intake(already have)
cat-back exhaust
Headers

Very nice find there; what are all the wires hooked up to? I would try and hide those when you get the chance.

Theres a lot you can do to the exterior and it seems like you have a solid list there, as far as performance theres pretty much three ways to go about it with an st. You can build an exhaust, and tune up. build the stock motor and turbo it or swap a 3sgte in there.

Took care of a few lil goodies for CelicaChikk today. Not a big update. Changed out the spark plugs and wires, and replaced all four factory speakers.

Those plugs... are garbage... especially in our cars. NGK Iridium IX are much better running, last longer and are more efficient.

BOSCH plugs foul out easily because of how little of the metal that actually shows. Jap cars usually burn a bit of oil due to sticky valves/valve seepage and it covers the end of the plug causing it to misfire.

Hmm, never had issue with the Bosch plugs myself, but then again I did pull'em out once/twice a year and cleaned them off. I figured that was just the 7a being the...7a..

Considering that they are still brand new, Im not having any problems with them so far, guess I will have to check them periodicly just in case.

My new high beam came in today and since it is such I nice day I jumped at the oppurtunity to replace the busted one. I still need to tactle the hood/bumper alignment too. I figured Id do that when I order and recieve my gt4 bumper and hood.

Another little tid bit, I replaced the factory e-brake handle and Im still waiting for the boot to come in but here she is so far.

I think the gap is there for the boot. So eventually it will be flush.

Its actually the same e-brake I have in my car. Eventually the factory boot will be completely cut out and the new one will replace that, so when it is all said and done it will look like this.

Latest update on SexciCelicaChikk's Celi. We got her windows tinted 20%, subs installed 2 Pioneer 12's, 760 watt Pioneer amp, volt meter, and water temp gauges installed. She has ordered a set of ebay headers and 2.5'' exhaust. Next month the celi gets dropped. Project is moving pretty steadyly and she is learning quite a bit considering she is doing everything herself.

Depending on your roads may want to go with a minor drop like the Tein springs, or spring of your choice. What I have on mine, drops it 1.5". Which with the terrible roads we have around here it's too much at times. Hopefully your roads are better. I'd like to do the GT-4 front myself, but I'm too cheap. tongue.gif Looks good though when done.

I've got that same e-brake handle. I've noticed that you have to dremmel out the inside a bit to get the button to actually come out of it though. I got pissed with having to push the button further than the face of the head to get it to release.

Looking good, now all you need is oil pressure and maybe oil temperature. One of these days I'll install an oil pressure gauge in mine.

I feel like the only useful gauge on that... isn't on there... Why do you need air fuel? Are you going to run an SAFC and cams? Water tempt is already on your dash, and volts... well I guess that's useful. Not to be a troll, but why not oil pressure, since those engines are known to burn and break oil down quickly?

Indeed, oil pressure is important. Yes they have the dummy lights, but can be too late by then. Why all cars don't have them I'll never know.

She's not building the car for perfomance she is building it for show. the a/f R is wired into her audio system to measure bass output and the water temp is there because she wants it there. Her car is pretty much a rolling boom box and thats how she wants to build it. I for one am backing her up and offering to help in any way that I can just for the simple fact that a woman is building her own car and I love the idea that she is doing something different. CREATIVITY!!!!!!

Thank u.

Well Just ordered a set of Megan Racing coilovers from ebay, a set of JDM clear side markers, and some LED bulbs for the dome light. Also Lil-Joe101 took my headers to a welder at his job to have a flange made for the second o2 sensor. Should be getting them back next week. Its gonna be kind of slow on ordering parts for a lil bit while Joe is in Japan, he has been a big help to me on this project and figured Id wait til he comes back so I can get more help, lol. I will post pics as soon as I get everything installed so stay tuned.

I am hoping that those speakers are either made for free air or there are boxes under them..?

I would imagine most 6x9's are made for free air. Every car that I have owned that had 6x9 in the back dash, were basically free air to the trunk. Once the hatch is closed, it would simulate the same setup.

They are free air, and givin that they are pioneer the sound quality of them is amazing. They are 6x9s with center mount tweeters. The 6x9s give the add bass of the music and the u can hear the vocals surpising very clear thru the tweeters. Givin the fact here setup is pretty general, the sound is amazing. Lookin forward to hearing it once everything she has planned is completed. I think it will look and sound great!!!!!!

Indeed, I want a double DIN too. I don't like aftermarket single DIN, all of them have removable face plates and they all jut out from the rest of the dash. frown.gif
