Aight so I got my st202 back yesterday night around 10pm. When my Dad and I got home. I will post pics tomorrow but here is the list of wrongful doings to it so far. Will post more as the findings increase.

Body:

multiple crack in the front bumper
Multiple cracks in the rear bumber
Carcked and worn side skirts
Dings on the roof
Ding in the L/s door and rear quarter panel
Ding on the r/s door
Cracked L/s fender(bondo)
torn tint on the hatch
scuffed tint on the r/s rear window
surface rust in the lug housing of all four rims
Dents and drag wear on the muffler
The outside!!!! Smelled like cat piss, took care of that problem real quick!!!!!!
Inside smells old if thats even possible

Engine:

Water mixed with oil
rusted flywheel n clutch
extremly greasy
nipple on on pressure valve of the intake broken
Almost every nut n blot is rusted on the whole frickin car.

This list seems like alot but after looking at the car and reviewing the list its not as bad as it seems. All lil TLC, and time, and she be back to my standards (808 type wink.gif) in no time. Stay tuned.

All minor prices to pay to have your baby here. What wasn't a minor price to pay was the actual price of getting the car here. Personally, I'd want someone's head on a stick if this happened to my car. It just shows that you're a better man than I. I don't understand how all of this happened though... I guess the car has sat unused for quite a long time. It's too bad that we aren't closer together. I'd love to get some wrench time in and help you out restoring this car back to former glory.

So are you going to register that and drive it in the states as RHD?

Does it have to do with it being your personal possession in Japan that makes it possible to do this?

You know Joe, its all fun in games having a rhd car in america. Until you hit that drive thru, lol....But your car did get nicked up pretty bad in the back. Looks to be easily repaired though. Also, who took the engine out? I think i missed that memo?!?!?

I drove 8000miles with my car as RHD in LHD countries so I know how it feels... and I can tell if I could register it as is I would keep it RHD and not converting at all smile.gif. It is completely different view on the world from other side of the car wink.gif.

Started sanding on the rear bumper today, just to remove the clear coat and getting ready for fiberglass and bondo.

Figured since the motor was out, now would be a great oppurtunity to clean it up, so Today I tackled the intake manifold.

Notice how dirty the fourth pipe is compared to the first three.

After 3 hours with a wire brush and bath towel the results are obvious.

Amazing what patience and a wire brush can accomplish tongue.gif
