put 50 horses in front of your car and tie them all in a line....or do what everyone else is doing--->swap or custom supercharge, turbo, and lastly, save the money and buy a turbo'ed car

Seriously dude if you have a 7a now and you wanna add horses it's REALLY easy for you. Just add a turbo/SC [already mentioned] but you want MY opinion [Been down the road and back again] SWAP THAT MF - you'll be doin' backflips and wondering if chicks are really all that - seriously
If I had your car it would be a last generation 4a-gze for me

Take a dremel and carve the ports out like the grand canyon. Probably wont help all that much but at least you'll be looking in the right area( I think it has more to do with vavle angle(why our motors are crap) than port size)

STs are super fun to drive around corners. I love it. If i were you, i'd focus on suspension. strut bar, sway bar, endlinks, springs or coil overs, some grippy tires.

Lowering springs and coil-overs are good provided you have decent seats. My seats suck and my back no like it. tongue.gif But yeah, don't bother with trying to make power out of the 7A-FE. It's like beating a dead horse. If you wanted to mod an econobox should've gone Honda.

I love driving it anywhere. And my seats are decent except the back seats are cracked from the sun. I'm trying to find new wheels and tires. I want the rim to fit flush with the body.
And my car rides and drives great, and for only $800 hell can't beat it!

Depending on where in the U.S. you can do whatever you want as long as it passes emissions. Even better are places like where I live they don't even inspect your car, and could care less about what you do with it. The Celica handles well, it's the one thing it has going for it.

Forget the turbo which costs a lot of money. Just get a leaf blower and attach it to your intake. Then when you want power go out to your engine and pull and pull until it kicks on, set it to MAX POWA and BAM Instant 10-20 HP!

Your parents won't buy you a turbo. Doesn't even matter that your grades are good.

Well there are two ways to increase the performance of your car, adding performance parts or ditching useless weight. Seeing as how parts cost money but filling the garage/dumpster is free, well you get the idea...

Removing the rear seat and all associated hardware is a little over 50 pounds or so. Brace yourself for the road noise though. I tried it for awhile, not worth it. Hypothetically if you could some how remove 200 pounds that'd take your power to weight ratio from 21.82 pounds per hp to 20 pounds per hp. Wooooo, flying now. laugh.gif

stripping the whole interior, stripping all the paint and just clear coating just the metal parts to hopefully prevent it from rusting, removing the power steering system, ac system, heater core and run a hose from the inlet to the outlet of the heater core hoses, cruise control, airbags replace them for(racing 1 seat{ditch the passengers}and 4 point harness maybe not as safe but better than nothing lol). radio and speakers, carbon fiber (hood, trunk lid, doors, dashboard ditch the center console), polycarbonate windows all around except windshield, remove the wipers and all mirrors, remove the spoiler, leave at home the spare tire and tools and have AAA on speed dial, get lighter wheels with low profile tires, lowering springs, remove the exhaust and run a straight pipe though the fender, remove high-beams and fog-lights then fiberglass flush ALL the holes left in the bumper, trim all unnecessary plastic from behind it and drill 4 1 inch holes on the bumper in front of the radiator, cover any gaps with custom aluminum under panels under the car, remove your taillights and replace them with LED strips, degrease your engine bay and ditch the airbox and filter, washer fluid system, and dont fill up the tank gas adds weight too. if he does all that he might get a decent power to weight ratio LOL

-Dont take this comment seriously
