I went to the dyno today to get a baseline to compare my upcoming modifications (new turbo kit). To make a long story short, my car jumped the rollers and roasted a tire after the first pull. The dyno shop didn't charge me for the pull and is buying a replacement tire so all is good. Luckily, my rims that took 6 months to get did not get damaged. The car is fine except the tire.

Anyway, I will let you all guess my numbers just for fun.

Relevant mods:

2nd gen JDM 3sgte - ceramic ct26
5 angle valve job on otherwise stock head
huge FMIC
540 cc injectors with no aftermarket fuel control (JDM ECU)
2.5" mandrel bent exhast - secondary cat removed
stock primary cat
apexi intake
ebc at 14psi
4th gear pull

guess away at whp and ft/lbs of torque! I will post up the numbers later.

yah my guess would also be around 230whp/tq

did u go rich a lil' bit when u hit the higher rpms cuz of the 540cc injectors w/o any management?

I have not bought the EMS but it is coming. I am buying an AEM. A GT28RS turbo will be installed very soon.

well you at least have to be in the 200-235 ball park at 14psi, or you have to have a massive boost leak or something.

he had a ct20b on a high milage usdm motor

Thanks Dustin. It is fun....but I am ready for a little upgrade biggrin.gif

Interestingly, I searched for the thread I started right after the swap was done. In that thread, I predicted whp at 220-230 and Tim (boosted2k) estimated 210-215. I guess he wins the cookie! (although I doubt he would have predicted the torque figure either)

My swap thread

I thought you meant 2006. So from what you're saying then, is that your turbo project is already underway, or am I having a hard time comprehending English?

Definitely hard time comprehending English. Perhaps I could have stated it more clearly. Lets try this: my turbo project (and new exhaust) is not installed or underway yet. The exhaust components are obtained, however. The entire project will be complete by the end of the year.

My goals are a modest 280whp / 280ft/lbs at 17psi with 200 ft/lbs before 2900 RPMs.

My next project car will not have a lag issue.

Here is the graph I got yesterday. The dyno operator told me he was going to email me the run files but he never did. This graph doesn't include the air/fuel ratio and was mapped against MPH rather than RPM's. 200 ft/lbs is reached right at 3000 RPMs.
