Glad to see some old folks back wink.gif

As for the Celica - Celicas for me continued at the 6 gen... All other celicas after it - are more or less dead for me biggrin.gif This one is nothing more like a 7 gen on steroids...

rear shot reminds me LF-A concept..

Oreo! You showed yourself again! haha! Well i would have to say the same thing I've been saying about most all new model sports cars. Im noticing a very disturbing trend. Everybody is dropping the sexy lines and definition off new model sports cars, and turning them into all one big F*%king curve! A great looking car has curves and lines. I have seen this with the new civics, eclipses, celica concept and alot more that i cant think of right now. Seriously man, DONT OVERDOSE ON CURVES!

I hope you know those magazines in Japan are just like the Enquirer and other tabloids you find at supermarkets here.

Don't hold your breath guys.

That's ugly, it reminds me of this:

IPB Image

The new Supra posted on here a while back was shown in either Road & Track or Car & Driver though so it looks legit.

front = puke, side and back--pretty nice looking.

I'm holding out for a better concept though.

They should really bring back the Celica before the Supra. The celica was the car that toyota tried all their cutting edge things out on.... their first all-wheel drive car, VVTL-I, and not to mention always being a good 5 to 6 years ahead of the styling curve. Even the supra and the camry were just optional celica models at one point. Way to kill a car with history.

I agree with you corn, they really killed the histtory ,especially with the 7th gen...it just was too far from the syling of the previous gens....

but i dont think toyota is going to play the horsepower game that every one else is playing. too bad though, im sure would build one hell of a reliable beast.

I heard a rumor that they sell the tC in Japan as a Celica. I don't normally believe rumors but having owned 5 Celicas of various gens and now owning a tC as well as my 2nd 6th gen I say it feels rather Celica-ish. Similar anyway.

Maybe tC stands for "Toyota Celica"

I belive it's really new celica. I'm not good at japanese at all biggrin.gif , but look at my avatar... That bold nonsense on left means "celica" and you can identify same symbols on the pictures from that magazine wink.gif more over is there short "celica history overview"...
